Lovely place in the heart of Trastevere! I've been visting the area for 10 years and could not be happier with this cozy little place. I will be back!
We stayed in the apartment for 10 days, and overall enjoyed our stay, especially since the location was fantastic: right in the middle of Trastevere, Rome's night-life district, very close to great gelati and restaurants. The apartment was reasonably equipped (wi-fi, electric stove, mini fridge, macchinetta), the place was clean, and the hosting by Gulia was warm (we didn't meet Sabrina at all).
The minus side was that it is actually only one small room, the size of a hotel room, with tiny kitchen and small bathroom (the original apartment was divided into 3 small apartments). The only opening, apart from the main door, was a glass door overlooking a small courtyard. Other than that there were no windows at all, so the apartment was rather dark and sometimes damp. Therefore we could tell its morning only by looking at the clock, since at 9 am it was as dark as in the evening...
The tiny kitchen is not really equipped to cook pasta or even an omelette. Also the apartment was a bit noisy at night. Another downside was that the Metro is quite far, though there are buses nearby.
As we said, overall we enjoyed our stay, as the apartment is a fair sublet for a few days' vacation.
Dear Keren first of all thanks for your stay.
About what you wrote it's necessary I make some precisions:
Trastevere is a centrally district but everybody knows there's no metro so if you choose Trastevere you can't blame about this.
Also you say the studio is not very quite but to be located in Trastevere it's really quite as the window is in the courtyard!
That's true the studio is small that's why we call it studio and it's well written in the site its size, so you can't blame about it as you know it before make a reservation.
The kitchen is equipped with some pots, cutleries, plates, cups, everything to cook, can't understand why you wrote it's not equipped to cook pasta..
As the studio is small really impossible to have another window, anyway the window is a full open window with the possibility to go outside the little balcony.
It's a lovely studio small but so centrally located and really quite to be location in such a centrally location.
Thanks for your stay!
