Just 3 miles from downtown Packwood's restaurants and shopping, Elk Woods Bungalow is brimming with rich cabin decor and vintage touches. Enjoy s’mores by the fire bowl with views of the Tatoosh mountain range, or explore the outdoors at nearby Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park, Gifford Pinchot Nat'l Forest, and White Pass ski area, all within a 20-minute drive.

**NOTE about BEDROOMS**
Bedroom 3 is a loft designed as a sleeping space

Situated on 1/4 acre on the corner of a quiet cul-de-sac, our newly renovated cabin provides nearly 1500 square feet of charming indoor space for you to enjoy. Open concept main floor living invites the family to gather for games and puzzles, dining, and movies on a 62" smart tv.

Grab a fleece blanket, your morning cup, and cozy up on the couches on the large covered front porch as the sun lights up the Tatoosh. A propane BBQ with additional patio seating are waiting on the wrap-around deck for dining alfresco. You will never need to worry about forgetting essentials in our graciously stocked kitchen where you'll find a variety of oils and spices for your use.

We take pride in our quality bedding to ensure a restful night's sleep. The main floor bedroom boasts a beautiful king bed that attaches to the bathroom. On the second story, you'll find the queen room tucked away in a quiet corner with plenty of privacy. The upstairs loft is a great escape for kids and adults alike to unwind. The loft is furnished with 2 comfy twin beds, a smart tv, couch area, and playful touches all around. There is a shared bathroom on the second level with a large, jetted tub, perfect for a long soak after a day of adventure.

~You will have access to the entire cabin, minus a locked storage closet reserved for the hosts.
~There is room in the driveway for 2 vehicles

Other things to note
~To access the front door, our guests have to climb a flight of stairs that can be slippery in freezing weather. We have provided deicer for such occasions. For fewer steps, you may walk around to the back entrance of the cabin.
~The second story bathroom has a jetted tub, not a shower
~We do not allow pets
~2 night minimum stay (holidays are 3 night minimum)
~Must be 21 or older to rent
~ALL guests, including children and infants, must be disclosed at the time of booking.
~Any additional guest over max of 6 will be fined $100 per night.
~ Firewood is not provided for the outdoor fire bowl
~No candles inside or on the outside decks please!

Native to the PNW, our busy family of 6 often escapes to the mountains when we break from school, work, and sports activities. Although our kids’ schedules keep our weekends full, we manage to fit in plenty of skiing at White Pass in the winter and hiking the Cascade and Olympic mountains in springtime through the fall. We are fortunate to have jobs with flexible schedules that cater to our adventurous spirit.
