Welcome to your home away from home. Conveniently located less than 3 miles from the airport, and under 10 minutes from downtown, local parks, stores & entertainment, this clean and cozy boho inspired home is perfect for an extended vacation, business travel or just a weekend getaway. We do strive to be a family friendly home, providing amenities such as a high chair, pack & play, sound machine, baby bath and games/toys.

The space
The Tanglewood house features an open living room and dining room, 2 bedrooms/1 bath, washer and dryer in unit, Wi-Fi, SmartTVs with streaming in each room, Bluetooth speaker in bathroom, and a deck out back overlooking a large unfenced backyard. We frequently have moose visits throughout the year! We also have a number of raspberry bushes that you may pick through during the summer months.

-Located on a quiet street of a residential neighborhood in the Turnagain area, just minutes away from beautiful Seppala Park.

-Bedroom 1 offers a QUEEN memory foam mattress
-Bedroom 2 towards back of house offers a QUEEN memory foam mattress. Of the two rooms, this room is much warmer as it sits just above the boiler room downstairs.
-Additional air mattress provided in closet as needed.
-Family friendly- we offer a pack and play, sound machine, baby bath, and toys for your little one. We also have a couple sleds that can be used during the winter. If you need anything additional, just let us know. We’re always happy to accommodate.
-We provide both a Keurig and a small drip coffee maker, along with various local teas and coffee from local roasters.
-For yours and our safety, we do have security cameras located around the property. These can be found in the front- field of vision being the driveway and street, on the right side- field of vision being side driveway, left side- field of vision being left side of yard, back deck-field of vision being back yard and shed, and shed- field of vision being back downstairs door. These record video and audio 24/7 and are only used or monitored by hosts in the case of a necessary situation or emergency.

Guest access
Guests will have two parking spaces available to them during their stay. These are the two left spots directly in front of the house. You may also park alongside the street as needed. Please do not block access to the right side of the property as these spots belong to our downstairs guests.

Other things to note
-This is an upstairs/downstairs duplex. While you will have your own private entrance, there is also a common area accessible through the kitchen door. You may use this to access the back deck.
-The lower level of the property (mechanical room and unit #2) and shed are off limits. Unit downstairs will be occupied by our mid-term guest (30-180 day stays).
-We are a scent friendly home. Please let us know prior to your stay if you have sensitivities to scents, cleaning products or laundry detergents. We will do our best to accommodate!
-Being 3 miles from the airport, you will hear the airplanes (more noticeable if windows are open and more so in the summer months). We are happy to provide earplugs if requested.

- Dogs: while fenced, please note our neighbors to the right do have a couple dogs. If you are sensitive to barks,, they will bark occasionally when they are outside..
