I moved here more than one year ago, some fixings are still missing, but the place is comfortable and clean. The rooms are in a sort of modern style. It takes 10 minutes to the downtown. You never get bored with my two kids, but they can be quiet to listen to a fairytale. My wife cooks excellently and we'll be happy to learn new cuisine magic from visitors. Our kitchen is large and guests can freely use the fridge or show us their culinary skills. In our apartment, all meals are free.
I can be your guide through the capital and inside the country. My car is quite resistent to long journeys. I can show museums, monasteries, shopping malls, restaurants, parks, wineries, and other buildings and sightseeings.
As a journalist, I can answer your questions about the political system in Moldova, economic status, social affairs, and other topics. I currently work as a communication specialist, so I will be happy to get you out for a good beer or famous Moldovan wine.
For those who wish to email or chat we provide a computer with cable internet, or a netbook and tablet - your choice - with wireless internet. A handphone will be given for the period of stay.
This was my first trip to Moldova and the Stratan were impeccable hosts. Aurel took the time to show us Chisinau and its surrounding environs, welcomed me into his home as if I were a long lost uncle who was finally visiting, and made every effort to ensure my visit was pleasant and complete. In short, the Stratan family were the consummate hosts and showed unerring hospitality at every turn.
