The Sangamon River also runs through Petersburg, which offers fishing and kayaking opportunities.

We love dogs and allow 1-2 well-behaved dogs to stay at the house; however, dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds, and we ask that dogs are kenneled when left alone. The pet fee is $20 per stay, and we reserve the right to charge an extra cleaning fee when excessive dog related cleaning is required.
