We stayed at Mary and Steve's house for one night. We had a very comfortable night but the best thing was the view of the mountains when we woke up. Priceless! Also, the breakfast was very yummy and generous. We highly recommend their place.
Great room with an amazing view! Located really close to the park and there's a great view of the stars on the back deck when the sky is clear. We only stayed here for a night but it really felt like a home away from home. Mary Kay was a great host and the breakfast was fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I was in the Yosemite area!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Mary's lovely home [A Bed of Roses]! Every single part of the room was carefully designed and we love how cozy it gets! The view from the room is spectacular and Mary's breakfast was so good! I'm already missing the French toast lovingly made by Mary. Be assured that your stay will be very comfortable at A Bed of Roses. Mary and her husband are really accommodative and friendly. Already missing the French toast and warm hospitality by both of them! I hope to return some day.
Charming place, very cozy and perfect for couples. Breakfast was the excellent, Mary Kay prepared a feast for us and another couple; we did not need to each lunch! Too bad we could not stay longer than an overnight.
We absolutely loved staying with Steve and Mary! They were the most gracious and wonderful hosts. Very communicative, willing to help us out with finding maps and plan activities and prepare an amazing breakfast. I would highly recommend staying with Steve and Mary!
Thank you for sharing your nice place to stay. We liked it so much and the breakfast was so good. We highly recommend a nice, quite and clean bedroom and bathroom. You guys are so friendly. We hope to see u again.
Greetings Family Sieg
Mary Kay and Steve were amazing hosts, they gave us a lot of recommendations and tips to get around and optimize our time at Yosemite Park. The bedroom has stunning views and was very clean and the breakfast was awesome. If you are in the area, stay there!
This was our 2nd experience with Airbnb (during our trip this September). The Garden Rose was as beautiful as the picture shows. It was very clean and comfortable. Mary Kay and Steve were excellent hosts. Very welcoming, friendly, the only downside to our stay was that it wasn't long enough (only one night - and unfortunately we didn't even get to enjoy the breakfast we had read reviews about). Would recommend staying here and would love to come back and stay again but for longer.
Steve and Mary Kaye are very friendly and their house is beautiful. The breakfast was good with lot of choice. Their place is good start for making trips. We enjoyed staying in Oakhurst.
I visited Yosemite with my mom and brother. We originally wanted to stay at Tenaya Lodge, but chose to use AirBnb due to the extremely high rates at Tenaya.
We still ended up spending quite a lot of money at A Bed of Roses, but we saved some money in the long run. Mary Kay, the host, was lovely. Very warm and welcoming. The room was nice. It was the perfect amount of space for three people, and there was free parking/breakfast/wi-fi. We enjoyed the adorable cats in the yard and the nice refreshing pool. Overall we had a nice experience, though there are a few things I would have liked to be better/different.
-They ask that you turn the AC off when you are out of your room. The temperatures in the area were soaring above 110, so when we turned the AC off in our room during the day, we came back to melted toiletries which was upsetting. If you stay here I would suggest you store all of your toiletries in the mini-fridge.
-The water smells VERY VERY funky in the bathroom
-The soap/shampoo/shower gel was yucky to us. We went out to CVS to buy new products. I'd suggest they leave little travel sized toiletries in the rooms for the guests.
Overall, a nice experience. I would come here again.
