Our neighborhood is safe, secure, and scenic. We are located 10 miles from the south gate of Yosemite National Park, which is just 2 miles from Mariposa Grove, with hiking trails to experience the giant sequoias. 5 miles in the other direction in Oakhurst you'll find large grocery stores, gas, and restaurants, including a micro-brewery. There's even a 5 star restaurant.
There is public transit inside Yosemite National Park, but the major means of transportation is by car. However, we can recommend tours of Yosemite.

Our hosts were friendly and attentive. They were meticulous in providing driving instructions so that you would never make a wrong turn to a local site or a restaurant. Mary Kay's breakfast was a delicious combo to greet you first thing in the morning. Steve made sure you never had to ask for a drink refill. He was a great conversationalist too.
Mary Kay's Inn is fabulous!
The place is beautiful and the location is great if you are visiting Yosemite.
The Garden Rose is exactly as it looks in the pictures. The bed is very conformable and the bathroom is clean and spacious.
I highly recommend you to stay for breakfast! It was plenty and delicious, it's not just "continental" bread and juice breakfast. We had eggs, toast, juice, tea, coffee, fruits and a delicious special french toast. My brother loved it so much, he asked to take the left overs!
Our experience was great. I'll come back on my trip to Yosemite area.
Wonderful place: a lot of light and an incredible view. The hosts are really kind and attentive. Highly recommended!
Beautiful views, warm hosts & delicious breakfast - best of everything we looked for in our stay.
The hosts warmly welcomed us into their home, made us feel comfortable and engaged us in pleasant conversation even though they were fairly busy on the memorial day weekend. The room has the most amazing view of the mountains, large windows allowed us to soak it all in from the comfort of our room. We absolutely loved the delicious breakfast (pancakes are to die for... !!!) . We enjoyed the views for the patio; loved spending the evening at Gajebo. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend the place.
Mary Kay and her husband were excellent hosts. Breakfast was great, the room was comfortable, and they helped us figure out logistics the next morning. Wonderful experience.
Mary and Steve are very welcoming hosts, they waited for us till late when we arrived to make sure we were comfortable. Its a lovely house and super breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and would definately go back!
Peaceful stay. Mary Kay and Steve were gracious hosts. They were available for our late arrival and made sure that we were settled in for the night. This is a great place to stay for a Yosemite adventure. It is close to the South entrance. The breakfast was tasty and it was great to talk to the hosts and the other guests about the park before heading out for the day.
