We had a very nice stay here. Mary and Steve are super sweet and Mary makes a great breakfast. They'll tell you all you want to know about places to go in Yosemite over breakfast.
The location is fairly close to the south entrance of Yosemite. It's not the closest option, but close enough, and it's right on the edge of Oakhurst which is a good sized town with lots of dining options.
Our room was quiet with a big tub, a decent bed, a tv with cable and a DVD player, and a mini fridge. The heater kept us plenty warm during the night. The Wifi connectivity was good.
Our first AirBnB stay! And it was oh so special. Charming place, lovely host and hostess. They were very welcoming and gave us pointers so we did not miss a beautiful photo spot on our way to Yosemite. :) oh how could I almost forget the lovely breakfast Mary made! So delish. Keep up the great work.
We stayed for a lovely weekend in yosemite. The hosts were great and we're very helpful and knowledgeable. The room was perfect - very comfortable and private. Breakfast was delicious and their cats were adorable. Would definitely recommend!
Thank you, very nice place!
Our stay at A Bed of Roses was our first airbnb experience and it was a very positive one. Mary Kay and Steve are very friendly and helpfull hosts, trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They serve a delicious breakfast in the morning, a great way to start the day.
We also enjoyed using the grill and sitting outside on the deck in the evening relaxing after a visit to Yosemite National Park.
We had a great stay at this nice place!
Mary Kay and Steve were exceptionally friendly and warm-hearted hosts. We felt immediately at home when we got there. Many people have already praised Mary Kay's and Steve's cooking - and for a good reason! You certainly don't have to start exploring Yosemite hungry :)
Country Rose is perfectly located, just outside the National Park entrance. The swimming pool is a plus, too bad we hadn't time to dip in :(
May and Steve,
Thanks for your hospitality and letting us stay that extra and unexpected night! Watching shooting stars with you and the breakfast with the rest of the guests were so special and unforgettable.
Do not hesitate to book this listing, just do it! Most of the good things we can say have already been mentioned in the previous reviews. Read them because we fully agree with them. Meeting people like Mary and Steve (and Carmen&family, our German friends) is what makes the airbnb experience so fulfilling.
If you appreciate a clean, warm and welcoming place to stay during your visit to Yosemite...Bed of Roses is "The Place".
Mary Kay and Steve were wonderful and very kindly hosts. They made us feel welcome.
They gave us helpful tipps for visiting Yosemite. A bed of roses is really well located close from the Park.We had a nice & cozy stay, enjoyable conversation and last but not least: delicious breakfast. We would stay there again anytime!
Steve and Mary Kay were very kind. They go out of their way to help and provide a full, hot, delicious breakfast! Our particular room (county rose) was small and awkwardly laid out but the outdoor patio with the table and chairs were nice and private.
What a nice & cozy stay! The Bed & Breakfast is really well located close from the Park.
The house is a peaceful place to rest. Enjoy the swiming pool early in the morning and late after-noon during summer time you will not regret it.
The room, the smaller one I had, is cozy with a great hot tube! Maybe a bit small but enough if you're travelling by yourself or in couple with light luggages. The air conditioning is well appreciated.
Finally Pam & Steve are wonderfull & nice hosts. Very welcoming. The 2 cats are also adorable.
You finally won't regret the delicious breakfast. Good choices. On my last day I got home made french toast (pain perdu) with rawsberries in it: delicious!
If you are exploring Yosemite, this is the place to stay! Good restaurants are also in Oakhurst city.
