Come and live in a former art gallery near Le Louvre. An amazing location in a huge 66 sqmetters flat! A unic low cost concept in Paris down townOf course for open minded travellers only.Family with young children and aged people aren't welcome.
A little Loft in a 18th century building. Near Le Louvre or place des Victoires, come to stay in a former art gallery: on street level, kitchen, living room with a bed settee for 2. In the basement: a bathroom and separate WC, 1 individual bed... Entrance direct from the street like a store. An original decoration, the artists will love! Of course, not authorized for children under 9 and undesirable for aged people. We remaind that it's an exentric flat, only for open minded travellers who understand how lucky they are to leave in a so huge flat (66 sqmetters) in an amazing location for so cheap price. Internet wifi, towels, bed linen included; Confortable beds,
but no TV, no washing machine or hair dryer. For those who want to book the december 31, we accept only from december 30.3 nights minimum.
Less than 2 minutes by foot: real backery and butchery rue Rameau, for the breakfast "Rutabaga" with fresh croissant, orange juice and ham rue des Petits Champs, in jardins du Palais Royal the famous Vefour 2 stars restaurant on Michelin guide, less expensive "le Grand Colbert" rue Vivienne a typical french brasserie, real parisian café bistrot "Au fil de l'eau" rue Rameau or in front very cheap Thaï food "le Spirit cafe".From april to october le square Louvois or les jardins du Palais Royal grass are ready for your first historical sunbathe. For Madame, so many trendy fashion shops in place des Victoires and rue Etienne Marcel. Young fashion couture like "Lanel" rue des Petis Champs or "On aura tout vu" rue Montpensier. A bike station rue Chabanais and another one rue de Richelieu, the nearest subway is Pyramides or Bourse (4 minutes walking). I have so many description to offer in these area...
The location of this apt. was great! A short walk to the Louvre, close to public transportation and restaurants. It comfortably slept our group of five people. The apartment is similar to the pictures shown. However the door (which is ground floor) was just a piece of ply wood that didn't fit properly so only one of the two locks actually locked. Safety was a bit of a concern at first. The neighborhood was safe and we had no problems other than noise. For people sleeping upstairs the street at night is noisy because of the thin door. I would recommend this apartment for someone who was looking for a great location and simply a place to sleep and shower. Over all our group liked the place with the exception of the security and noise of the plywood door.
What an interesting lodging! Location is magnificent with a short walk finding one in the Louvre. The gallery dwelling has a very boheme artsy feel with the cellar bedroom being quite a trip. Well worth it for the price. Did not meet the host but the self check in process is painless and efficient. A perfect studio space to launch forays on the city from. Recommend. There are certain eccentricities to the place so it may not suit all types, but there you go, c'est la vie!
Apartment was in a fantastic location. Great value for money. Would recommend for a stay in Paris. Remember to pack your hairdryer. Thanks Nicolas.
Excellent location, place to stay with their limitations, like the outside construction.
The location is Great!!! It's in the Japanese town with all kind of delicious Japanese Restaurants around. It's 15 min walking to Museum Louvre. It's close to the shopping area with all kind of levels. (Christian Louboutin to H&M). It's OK distance to Subway station. It could be cold in winter to walk 8 min to subway. But it's so easy to find taxi near the apartment. And there is a taxi waiting line about 5 min walking from the apartment. The decoration is interesting. It has speakers connected with video.
The master bedroom is on the basement floor, you need to go down and feels like secret room. In general, the apartment provides everything you need for living and very clean. But the quality can not be same good as a real home or a hotel. The bathroom is very cold if you don't turn on the heating in winter.
