I had a great stay in Milwaukee at Maggie's beautiful house, she's super organized, helpful and welcoming, would stay there again in a heartbeat.
Maggie was very accommodating despite us not even being able to Milwaukee due to the weather. She was prompt to reply and answer questions. I hope one day we can take advantage of her nice place!
Maggie was a great host. Meeting her was a high point of the trip. She was very nice, and full of suggestions for places to go in Milwaukee. Her house was beautiful and comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay in Maggie's warm and homey home. Even though we had opposite schedules, Maggie made us feel welcome. When the polar vortex complicated all our travel plans, Maggie was proactive in making sure we knew how to get into the house no matter when we arrived. She's easygoing and great company and cultivates a space where you can meet your fellow guests as easily as maintain your privacy. We recommend a stay at Maggie's.
I stayed at Maggie's home with my boyfriend Kyle for three nights around New Year's Eve. Although, Maggie was traveling at the time the her home was welcoming, comfortable and clean. As former Milwaukeeans, it was great to be so close to some of our favorite spots. I would recommend Maggie's home to anyone planning a trip to Milwaukee. Kyle and I hope we can stay with Maggie again the next time we visit Milwaukee.
Staying at Maggie's house was one of the highlights of our trip! I came with two friends and we all felt very at home. Maggie is a fascinating person and leads a very creative life. We wanted to ask her so many things! Her whole house was so clean, organized, and well designed. She was quick to lend us maps that were marked with good places to visit around town and she was great with giving us directions. We definitely would not have had as good of a trip without her help!
Maggie arranged a smooth check-in, and I found everything easily. Communication beforehand was great, too. Both the room and the house I found to be beautiful and welcoming, I loved especially the color schemes throughout the rooms and the soft sheets. The cherry on top was the tasty and creative breakfast Maggie made, and it was very nice to have a little time to chat with her. Thank you for the wonderful B&B experience in Milwaukee, I hope to come back!
My week-long stay with Maggie in Milwaukee was fabulous. Her house is gorgeous, and I had a spacious and comfortable room as well as full use of the kitchen and all the other common areas. Maggie was a gracious and accommodating host. She provides coffee and breakfast, has lots of tips for things to see/do and places to eat, and made room in her garage for my car. Maggie is also lots of fun. She took me to the Lakefront Brewery (note: be sure to book tickets well in advance!), invited me to share meals with her, and introduced me to Milwaukee's most amazing shoe store (Shoo), where I narrowly escaped doing major damage to my credit card. Maggie often has more than one airbnb guest staying at a time, and it was also great to get to know other people who were passing through. Oh, and the dogs! They are adorable! Overall, staying with Maggie was a lot like visiting a friend in a great city. I can't rate the stay highly enough.
Maggie's East side Arts & Crafts Tudor is the place to stay when visiting Milwaukee. This beautiful house located in a great neighborhood is owned by the wonderful Maggie. I was greeted warmly by Maggie when I arrived. She gave me a delicious cup of masala chai which really hit the spot after having traveled quite a distance.
Maggie's dogs are so adorable, friendly, and sweet. I enjoyed hanging out with them during my stay.
Maggie has three bicycles available for guests to ride. I'm so thankful for Maggie's kindness in letting me use her bicycle to explore Milwaukee. I highly recommend biking along the lake.
For breakfast Maggie had complimentary coffee and food available for guests.I found this to be very nice.
If you find yourself in Milwaukee book a room with Maggie. The magnificent Maggie is a gracious hostess. You'll love your stay here.
