Dandi Domus place was the first place we stayed at in Rome when we arrived from Siena. Please keep in mind that we had been staying at several Airbnb places already and we were getting weary with surprises of the types of places we were getting. So the initial impression as we were walking to Dandi Domus was that the location wasn't in the best sort of neighborhood..litterings and graffitti all over the neighborhood gave us a clue that it was possibly not in the best neighborhood. It turns out that it is an international district with many cultures co-habitating this area.. The place itself...was modern once you got into the Dande Domus flat and Mara who met us was pleasant, friendly and thorough. Wifi and air conditioning was good. The room was clean and it was quiet even though there was grocery vendors just below our room. The breakfast consisted of pastries and a cup of hot drink at the Krystal Bar...all worked fine. Overall experience is fine..
Easy to find, friendly and accomodating hosts. We didn't get the room we booked but they waived the city tax for us since there were no other rooms available. Would recommend!
The experience was just perfect, location is just as mentioned, 2 min from Metro. And I feel this is the best part. It was a warm welcome and they explained all the places very well. Rest I found it quite convenient to explore Rome of my own (along with my wife and 2 kids ) just by having a Metro Pass and Map. Room/other details were as exactly as mentioned on website. Thanks !!!
We have tried to leave a review several times as we think Dandi Domus is a wonderful place. This is s place you cannot judge a book by its cover. The street does not look that appealing. Just open the door and view the marble hall to the courtyard and then go up to the room and you will be happy you came. Our hostess was very accommodating and very, very helpful about getting around Rome. I would definitely go back.
Dandi Domus' apartment worked out very well for our stay in Rome! The apartment was very good, clean and just like the pictures. Mara, our host, was very helpful, helped us settle in and provided us with alot of advice and tips for our 4 night stay in Rome. The location was great, next door to the metro and a walk away from Termini train station. I highly recommend Dandi Domus!
