Beautiful place, every bit as in the pictures. Very rationally organized house, with a lovely small veranda overlooking the garden and the sea. Going to sleep with the sound of the waves... amazing time.
Molto grazie a Marcella!
Marcella was there to meet me and was very welcoming and helpful. I had wanted to go somewhere peaceful, as a change from city life, and this was ideal. Marcella has clearly given a lot of thought to making her guests welcome.
The house was situated right beside the sea, and the views across to the bay area and around the coast were lovely. Now that I'm back at work the memory of sitting on the bedroom balcony, or the terrace, in the morning sunshine is still with me, as is the memory of going to sleep at night to the sound of the sea lapping against the shore.
The apartment was lovely, and I was happy to spend a lot of time there and in the garden, going daily into the village for different things, whether just shopping for groceries and trying out the local specialities, or wandering up the the fortress, or to the aquarium.
A favourite activity was buying fresh fish at the market to bring home and cook - wonderful! Always with the possibility of eating at one of the local restaurants instead. It was also quite easy to get on a bus and travel round to the other village, and there were lots of places to walk, though if you wanted to go further then you really needed a car.
I loved my stay in Marcella's apartment and Porto Santo Stefano, and hope to go back soon.
We had a wonderful time at Villa Rosetta. Discovering Monte Argentario was a great experience and we picked the ideal time of the year and the best location to stay. We met Marcella on our day of arrival, she was very welcoming and helpful. Eventhough she was not in the house during our holidays, we could feel she would be here for us, in case we needed support - which we didn't because everything in the apartment is perfectly organized and equipped, so we could just enjoy and relax. We fell in love with this region and it's nature and would love to come back and stay at this beautiful house.
We had a very warm welcome, the communication was very friendly and prompt. Everything was fine - especially the spectacular surrounding and sea view. The villa is located near to the village, you can reach it in a 5 Min walk. The apartment is nice and comfortable and fully equipped. Marcella, we´ll come back again.
We had the chance to be able to spend 3 days in September in Marcella's property. My partner and I have a very busy work schedule and we needed those 3 days to be peaceful, quiet, and somehow refill the batteries. We were in the apartment #1, with a wonderful and soothing sea view and the sound of the waves at night. There are two direct and private access to the sea from the garden and we swam and snorkel as much as we could. We were welcomed by Marcella and Argo the dog on the first night - a pack of crostini and a bottle of wine was waiting for us. Accommodation very clean, terrace perfect from breakfast to diner. In summary, if you are seeking sea, sun, simplicity, peace and warm and professional attendance, then you are at the right place.

About the Host, Marcella
I am happy to open my home to guests and to share with them a quiet and relaxing place, a welcoming haven, where they can plan their visits, from which to explore the wonders of the region and to rest after long walks and hikes to explore the beautiful Italy.
I like to play sports, especially if they bring me in contact with nature such as cycling, sailing, long walks. I love animals.
For my training as a restorer of works of art I love historical places and safeguarded them with respect and attention.
My passion and my hobby is now working with old everyday objects to bring them to life and even to a different function, mixing a little card.
When I can cut the time for myself between work and family, I love to read and listen to good music.
