  • We loved our stay in Marcella house. Every morning we woke up with a view of an amazing sunrise over the sea, we had breakfast with ocean view and ended up staying at the private beach almost every day. The house is located very beautifully. The interior is plain, but tastefull. Marcella and her husband were extremly friendly. All in all a wonderfull experience.

  • Nice appartment! The beach is a bit rocky, but apart from that we really enjoyed our stay!

  • We had an absolute lovely time in Porto Santo Stefano at the family's house. We stayed for 2.5 weeks, and enjoyed every minute. The apartment is on the first floor with it's own access, and has great views over the sea. The sea is great, the water is quite warm and clear, and it is heavily recommended to bring some snorkelling gear! Watershoes are also recommended as it is a bit rocky. All can easily be bought in the town though. The little town is within walking distance and has everything you need. It is a place for people who want to relax. Marcella was very helpful, and the whole family is warm and welcoming. We hope to come back!

  • What an awesome place to be!

This house turned out to be (as promised) a real jewel, it is tenderly kept in its original historic state. Due to its unique location it is very quiet although in walking distance to the village center. The private sea access makes swimming and snorkeling very comfortable, which is even more valuable if you know how crowded Italian beaches are in the summer season. And if you get up early you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises from your balcony.

But what makes this place really special is warm-hearted and hospitable Marcella and her family. When we arrived we stopped our car at the end of a dead-end road in front of a closed gate not being sure to have arrived at our holiday location. Just a week later we were waved goodbye from this gate by some of the most lovely people we ever met on our journeys.

So if you're not only interested in an awesome holiday-spot, but also in meeting nice people this its the place to be for you!

    Thanks for everything,
    Melanie & Jan

About
I am happy to open my home to guests and to share with them a quiet and relaxing place, a welcoming haven, where they can plan their visits, from which to explore the wonders of the region and to rest after long walks and hikes to explore the beautiful Italy. I like to play sports, especially if they bring me in contact with nature such as cycling, sailing, long walks. I love animals. For my training as a restorer of works of art I love historical places and safeguarded them with respect and attention. My passion and my hobby is now working with old everyday objects to bring them to life and even to a different function, mixing a little card. When I can cut the time for myself between work and family, I love to read and listen to good music.
