About This Listing
We rent two double private rooms of our just renewed house.
The rooms are independent from the rest, have separated entrances from the courtyard, a bathroom in common and WI-FI free.
The house is located on the hills facing the city of La Spezia.
Surrunded by a 5.000 sqm private garden cultivated with olive trees, vines, fruit trees and vegetables, it occupies a part of a typical country house built in mid '800.
The rooms combine the original rustic with simple minimalistic style.
You would enjoy a italian breakfast on the garden where you would meet chickens, cats and our dogs Uki and Paolo.
The House is a strategic starting point for trips and excursions to Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Lerici, Tellaro, Sarzana, etc.
The best way to reach us is by car, by motorcycle or, if you are just a little bit trained by bike.
A big free parking is situated 30m far from the house.
If you are coming by train, we have a couple of bike you can borrow. Bus number 34 stops two times during the morning 30mt far and Bus number 12 stops every 20min 1Km far.
Historical City Center, Train station and Embarking point for the boats are 3km far.

We had a fantastic experience at Serena's! She was a super host, a person you would love to spend time with! The property was beautiful, the room was comfortable and exactly as pictured. Breakfast was made by Serena's mother - fantastic! We would highly recommend this place!
Beautiful little space near enough to Cinque Terra by train. Serena was a wonderful and welcoming host. As she notes in her description, it's best to get there by car and although the streets of La Spezia are very challenging to drive, Serena provides very specific directions and assistance. I would recommend not driving once you get to the room. Best to simply take a bus to the train for a Cinque Terra day. definitely recommend staying here rather than in one of the towns, as the room is lovely, very clean, and a wonderful place to return to after visiting Cinque Terra all day. We also loved sweet Dog and the lovely breakfast they served!
Our stay in Serena's country house was perfect! The house itself was beautiful and clean, and lovely views surrounded it. Serena and her family were very welcoming and friendly, and were there to help with anything we needed. The breakfast prepared for us each morning was wonderful, and it was especially kind for Serena's mother to prepare it for us particularly early on one morning, so that we could catch an early bus to Cinque Terre!
The location is great, as you have peace and quiet but it is also easy to get a bus into La Spezia, where the gorgeous towns of Cinque Terre are easily reached by train.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it!
Serena was very helpful and informative on where to go in Cinque Terre! It wasn't too difficult to look for her place with driving. Just needed to park up the hill and walk 1min to her place. Simple breakfast at the backyard with sunshine was lovely! If you don't mind sharing bathroom with other guess then it's good enough for my 3 nights stay!
It is a good place for visiting Cinque Terre and Portovenere. If you have a time and car Carrara marble quarry isn't too far as well.
Serena is a charming and welcoming. Her mothers breakfast on garden terrace was very nice.
And a dog Paolo is so friendly.
Thanks for printing out our boarding passes.
Absolutely loved our stay here and would stay here again if I am fortunate enough to return. Serena is an amazing host! She stayed up late to welcome us, provided us with tons of information that made our stay efficient and the house itself offers a relaxing vibe. Breakfast was provided in the morning and we were able to get our laundry done after weeks of travel!
