Michele & Beth's home is absolutely lovely. The apartment is large, lots of light, fresh air & decorated beautifully. They made me feel so welcome with a plate of fruit & cheese & a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge upon my arrival. Had a nice chat with Michele & she insisted I take some more of the kale from their garden, which I happily obliged:) She let me know they've sold the home, certain they will make any place equally wonderful should they choose to host again. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, highly recommend!
We had a bottle of white wine chilling in the fridge, fresh strawberries and raspberries as well as four beautiful just picked eggs sitting on the table, awaiting our arrival. It was a wonderful apartment, very comfortable with a great little kitchen. After we ate all the berries provided, we picked more (with encouragement) for our breakfast the next day. The surroundings were very peaceful and the birds at the bird feeders as well as the wild rabbits were fun to watch. My only suggestion is bring your own coffee if you are picky.
The reservation was canceled 35 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My stay on Whidbey at Michel and Beth's home was fantastic. These ladies are gracious, kind, friendly and are very welcoming host. I have stayed at many Airbnb homes, and this was a great experience overall. Michel offered great hospitality, supplying fresh greens from the garden, local eggs and some snacks, coffee/tea supplies and even checked with me if I would like a bottle of wine.
Beth and Michel welcomed me to their land and were very helpful with information about the island. The apartment is very welcoming, cozy and has a comfortable bed. Being a basement apartment, you have the normal noise of someone above you, and they were also conscious of this. I would recommend their home for any trip to Whidbey.
Our stay here was lovely . Michel and Beth responded to my initial inquiry almost immediately and the booking and logistics went very smoothly . The apartment is spacious , arty and comfortable . The property is serene , private and a sweet getaway . I recommend this as a wonderful space to enjoy !
My boyfriend and I stayed here in February and arrived in the middle of a wind storm that caused a power outage! There was some confusion about how we were supposed to get into the apartment, and there was no power and no cell service, but luckily I found the key and we walked in to a beautiful cozy apartment with the fire already going for us! The apartment is adorable, conveniently located close to the ferry, and beautifully furnished. Besides the small hiccup in the beginning, we loved our stay here! I would definitely go back.
Michel and Beth's home was so beautiful. It was quiet and amazing. Outside they have a place for your to park far off the road. They have a large house and you stay in a separate place with its own entrance. Michel and Beth has everything you need. A beautiful and smartly layed out kitchen and a comfy bed.
We needed assistance due to not being able to find the address. We didn't have great cell reception driving there, but we had Jesse's number (whom is so helpful that he left a msg for us and when he didn't hear back, he actually came over to make sure we got in o.k.
The house was so clean! We felt at home and was in awe of the beauty surrounding the home (inside and out)
We even heard an owl at night and saw so many beautiful stars. A rare treat for a couple city girls!
