The space
Step out of our private entrance into the business district of Pittsburgh and take a half-block walk where you will be greeted by the stunning views of Pittsburgh's iconic skyline with its many Iron bridges from the Grandview overlook at the top of the incline. The perfect place to watch an epic sunrise or check out the city coming to life at night with its dazzling lights.


What our guests love about our listing:

-The gel memory foam beds with down-filled pillows and comforter along with cotton alternative pillows and 100% organic cotton linens allows you to get that perfect sleep just how you like it and leave you feeling like you're sleeping in the clouds.

-The patio area is where you will want to spend all your time. This private outdoor living area feels like an escape which will make you forget you're in the city at all. Featuring a BBQ grill so you can grill up some delicious meals which you can enjoy under the shaded pergola outdoor dinning area. Perhaps enjoy your cup of complimentary coffee or tea and engage in a great chat in the lounge area by the romantic glow of the fire-table. Maybe play a game of corn hole or unwind and relax in the seasonal Spa after a day of traveling, touring or work, with the strung lights overhead and lanterns on the patio giving that perfect ambiance. -Our home has 2 cozy fireplace features which just invites you to snuggle up in one of the many extra blankets for a fun movie night on the two large smart TV's with complimentary Netflix. We are sure you can find something for the whole family to enjoy watching, perhaps with a bowl of popcorn!

-Workspace for remote working is located in the master bedroom, featuring a very comfortable office chair and desk. Try not to get too distracted day dreaming as you enjoying the great view of the city out the window behind the desk. We include fast WIFI so you never miss a meeting. A notepad, pen, scissors, tape, and a bright desk lamp are provided so you can get your work done as if you were at the office and enjoy the pleasures of working in a new location.

-The space was professionally designed with Modern Parisian furnishings but also with children in mind, providing toys (Duplo Legos, lacing boards, puzzles, board games and books) for all ages, a highchair, step stool, and a pack-n-play with a 2" memory foam mattress and 100% organic cotton crib sheet and blanket, making sure they have the best environment to thrive, by reducing harmful household toxins and having a beautiful yet secure place to stay….so as a parent you can truly kick back and relax.

-Professionally cleaned and sanitized between each and every guest. We OBSESS over cleanliness and ensure that every surface, linens and towels are washed with natural environmentally friendly cleaners and disinfected with hot steam. BONUS – Bleach/Toxic/Fragrance-free.

-Complimentary washer and dryer on first floor.

-Our house is conveniently located only a half-block from the overlook of Pittsburgh skyline as well as many restaurants and shops of the Shiloh street shops and only 5 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh's many attractions. Pittsburgh has a spot for everyone to go see.....places like Heinz field, PNC park, Phipps Conservatory, Carnegie Museum, Pittsburgh Zoo, and the strip district, just to name a few.

-Easy self check-in via secure door keypad.

-In the summer the whole house is cooled by window air conditioning units in every room which allows each guest to set their preferred temp for optimum comfort.

-Secure 2 car garage conveniently accessible with remote and one off street parking area. Also the street has 24hour free parking on both sides.

-Complimentary breakfast includes oatmeal, regular and decaf coffee, and a variety of teas.

-The property features a bathroom on every floor of this 3 story home. A half bath on the first and third floor and a full bath on the second.
The full bathroom has a luxurious deep soaker tub, a separate shower featuring 2 different head options, heated floor, and towel warmer.



What some of our guests don’t like about our listing:
-The floors can creak some as this is an older home, however it has been newly remodeled and professionally designed.
-Some of the windows stick shut as they are still the old cast-iron weighted windows. This is part of the charm of an older home, although they are planned to be replaced next year.
-Potential for noise from the restaurants up the street in summer as they have outdoor dining areas with live musicians.
-Our home has a basement suites with a long-term tenant living there, which has the potential for some noise. These spaces are completely separate with their own private entrance and no space is shared between the units.
-Our seasonal spa is only available May through October and is closed during the other months as it is an inflatable spa and cannot handle the cold winter temperatures. Plants and some out door furniture are placed in storage during the winter.


Our home comfortably sleeps up to 10 people. Featuring a variety of sleeping options with a King bed in the master, queen bed, full-bed, two twin beds and the bonus room is equipped with a brand new queen memory foam floor-mattress, if needed, which fits comfortably in the living room area, as well as a Portable crib with mattress. All beds are made with freshly cleaned linens.

The kitchen comes fully loaded with appliances such as microwave, fridge, stove, and dishwasher along with glasses, mugs, dishes, and cutlery.

Once you stay with us, you’ll feel like you’re simply staying at your own home.

Guest access
You have full and total access to our home during your stay, including the covered front porch, patio, garage and off-street parking area. Feel free to stream Netflix as much as you like, whip up anything you dream of in our fully stocked chef’s kitchen, take a walk along the Grandview board walk, ride the incline plane, shop the Shiloh street shops, go read at the public library, or jump in your car/take an Uber to downtown Pittsburgh's core.

Other things to note
There is keyless entry to the home with a unique door code which will be provided to you after you book with us.

We have exterior cameras on the front, side, and garage of the house that record to the cloud 24/7 for security purposes.

Please remember that you're staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.

Please note that profiles with less than 10 reviews or a rating of 4.5 star or lower will not be allowed to book our property on an instant book basis and if for whatever reason the reservation confirms through the system, the reservation may be cancelled. For guest with new profiles with less than 10 reviews , these requests will be reviewed manually and will be subject to screening and questions and may be required to pay $750 security deposit (which is refundable) before reservation may be confirmed.

If your group reservation is for 8 or less guests, yet would wish to have use of the floor mattress, it can be provided upon request before check-in.

Being avid travelers ourselves trying to show our children all this world has to offer, we love the experience Airbnb has provided being able to live life as one of the locals wherever we're going. Our commitment to providing a fragrance-free, non-toxic, and organic home started after our first-hand experience with our sons severe eczema as a baby. This kept us home bound for 3 years, until he was able to mostly grow out his extreme sensitivities. We hope to bridge the gap by providing that home away from home, by avoiding any allergic flair ups for our guests. We obsess over every detail and have an incredible team to ensure our properties are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard prior to your visit.
