Tranquil, Quiet and Serene property located within minutes of Downtown Mentone!! Located within the city limits of Mentone, all the great eateries and places to visit yet nestled away in an area to seclude yourself away from the everyday stresses of life. About 9/10th of a mile walk from downtown Mentone and 1 mile from the Brow; 350 ft. walk from the homes front door to the banks of Little River.

Upscale, exceptionally cozy cabin, perfect for a weekend retreat or a longer stay. All the comforts of home but nestled away in a secluded area of downtown Mentone.

Imagine yourself sitting on a rocking chair, lying on a hammock, sitting within feet of a roaring fire on the homes 350 sqft. screened-in back porch with stack stoned fireplace. Perfect place to just relax, have a cup of coffee in the morning and listen to the birds and wildlife or to enjoy a romantic evening by the fire.

All the privacy and seclusion you could want, set in a tranquil and private setting, yet located within a couple minute drive from all the great eateries, events and sites of downtown Mentone, the Brow and Brow Park overlooking Valleyhead, Fort Payne and other towns down in the Valley.

Home is located just across the street from Little River. Water events and waterside access awaits - Wanting to experience some time sitting at the water's edge, enjoying one of Lookout Mountains natural wonders? Looking to kayak or canoe or even to take a swim in the river, simply inquire when submitting your booking request. Kayak and canoe rentals can be obtained through local outfitters – Please inquire prior to or after booking.

The home offers a 2 1/2 story vaulted ceiling Great Room, full kitchen, with a kitchen island bar top and bar stools, open living floor plan and French pine walls and hardwood floors. Contemporary colored walls have been integrated in the bathrooms and kitchen area, and tile flooring has been laid in the downstairs bathroom floors. The Great Room also features a stacked-stone fireplace!

Huge 350 sq. ft. fully screened in porch on back of home features a stacked stone fireplace, ceiling fans and a firebox blower fan unit to push the heat of the fire onto the porch during those cold Spring, Fall and Winter nights. Tree filled lot adds for an additional sense of privacy. Exceptionally comfortable and cozy place to rent and getaway for the weekend for couples, retreats, families, get togethers or just a chance to get some R&R away from the everyday stresses of life.

Home sits on a private, fully wooded 3/4 acre lot which allows for serenity, privacy and a very peaceful, relaxing stay.

Guest access
Access to the home is via a keyless combination door lock on the front door. My property manager will provide you with the combination door lock code to obtain access to the home 5-7 days prior to your check-in to the home.

The entire home is available for your use. The only areas of the home off-limits are two storage areas in the upper part of the home which have padlocks on them.

If you need to reach our property manager concerning access issues to the home, contact information for them will be provided to you at the time you book the home - this ensures you experience no issues upon your arrival to the home.

Other things to note
Additional amenities include WiFi and River access to Little River across the street from the home upon request and approval with the property manager and Owner of the home.

The home is located on the far end of a dead end street, surrounded by a handful of other vacation homes which are utilized by other "part time" residents who utilize the homes for their own vacation purposes. Most of these "part time" residents visit their homes once a month or less. This provides visitors to the home with a very serene and quiet stay experience as for the most part, owners of the other homes are very infrequently at their homes. Additionally, the lot the home is on is fully wooded which provides for a high degree of privacy for our guests.

My wife and I are parents to two beautiful young girls, Lily & Mia. As a family, we love visiting our vacation rental home in Mentone, taking family trips to the beach to enjoy oceanfront adventures (OuterBanks - North Carolina, Destin - FL, etc.), heading to the North Georgia mountains to enjoy outdoor activities and going to DisneyWorld and other family oriented events. My hobbies include fishing, hiking, motorcycle rides, reading books, watching movies, attending sporting events and spending time with my family. Given my full-time job keeps me busy traveling at times and comes with an increased level of responsibility, being a host on AirBnB is an incredibly rewarding experience and provides a sense of fulfillment I just don’t get out of my professional career. There is nothing more gratifying than hosting, knowing your guests check out of the home having had a truly outstanding stay at your home with a sense of peace, feeling more relaxed and refreshed then when they arrived. I personally have a passion for customer service and providing an outstanding experience with a strong emphasis on ensuring my guests are completely satisfied with their stay. This especially applies to the vacation rental business my wife and began in opening our home for others to enjoy when choosing a visit in Mentone.
