Beautiful property - pleasantly decorated and appointed while still maintaining a beach cabin feel. Easy walk to beach and a few nearby restaurants shops, nice walking path on the lagoon side of the street. It was cleaned and set up nicely for arrival. Hosts easy to contact and communicate with, although we had no major problems to speak of!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The heated pool was definitely a highlight and was enjoyed every day. The neighborhood felt safe and relaxing, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We also appreciated that it was dog friendly. Overall, it was a great getaway and we would absolutely stay here again!

Thank you so much for hosting our family vacation. We truly enjoyed our time at your beautiful home. The house itself was not only spacious but also had such a charming rustic interior that immediately made us feel comfortable and welcomed.
The kids especially loved the bunk beds and, of course, spent plenty of time enjoying the pool—it was definitely one of the highlights of their trip. The location was also very convenient, with the beach just a short distance away. Having easy access made our stay even more enjoyable.
We also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the beach supplies and wagon that were provided. These items were incredibly useful and made our beach days much easier and more accommodating for the whole family.
Overall, we had a wonderfully relaxing and memorable stay, and we are so grateful for the hospitality. Thank you again for making our family vacation such an enjoyable experience.

This property was perfect. Our kids enjoyed the pool, short walk to beach. The house has everything you can possibly need. From nets to catch crabs, to beach wagons, bikes, boogie boards, cooler, board games and cards can’t think of anything missing. And Jessica is so easy to work with, and the checkin and checkout is a breeze. Would highly recommend this property for your stay in gulf shores

Perfect location! You can hear the waves from the beach from the back deck! My family of 4 had the best week and the kids(and us adults) LOVED the heated pool! The house is exactly as pictured and described and felt like a little home away from home! Plenty of extra beach towels and tons of beach toys/floats and chairs! The pool was so nice and clean. The propane tank for the fire pit was empty our first night, I sent a quick message to let them know and the very next morning someone was there to go have it filled up and it was up and ready to use that night! If I could give 10 stars I would! Will definitely book again for our next vacation in Gulf Shores!

1. How far is the nearest beach access from the house?
The nearest beach access is about a 10-minute walk from the house. If you’re bringing along gear, you can also drive there in just a couple of minutes; there is a free public parking lot right by the beach access.
2. Do I need to pay an additional fee for pool heating?
There is no additional cost for heating the pool.
3. Are golf carts allowed on the street?
Unfortunately, golf carts are not allowed on the street where our house is located.
4. What beach amenities do you offer?
We have beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, and beach wagon.
5. How deep is the pool?
The pool depth ranges from 3.5 feet in the shallow end to 5 feet in the deeper portion.
6. How many bikes and beach chairs are available?
There are 4 bikes and at least 5 beach chairs at the property.

1. 🐾 PETS POLICY 🐾
We have pets of our own and completely understand wanting to bring them along to enjoy the vacation too! To help us keep the home clean and comfortable for all guests, please follow these guidelines:
- Up to 2 dogs allowed (under 30 lbs each)
- No puppies allowed — dogs must be at least 1 year old
- Dogs must be crate-trained and remain in their crate when left alone
- A non-refundable pet fee applies: $200 for 1 pet, $300 for 2 pets
- Pet waste: Please clean up after your dog using a waste bag, seal it properly, and dispose of it in the trash can
2. 🛠️ DAMAGES
If anything is damaged during or after your stay, please contact us immediately so we can arrange for it to be repaired or replaced for our next guests.
3. 📄 RENTAL AGREEMENT REQUIREMENT
To complete your reservation, signing a renter’s agreement is required. This ensures a clear understanding of house rules and helps us provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Situated in the heart of Gulf Shores, Heron's Hideaway is the perfect spot for those who want to be close to all the action but still have a quite place to return to with the added benefit of a private pool.
Heron's Hideaway has an open floor plan with a light, airy living space, comfortable sectional and large screen TV. The dining area can sit 8 and the fully stocked kitchen has stainless steel appliances, coffee bar and all the things you need to make yourself at home.
BEDROOMS: All bedrooms are newly redecorated with smart TVs, comfortable bedding and plenty of storage space

The back deck is the ideal place to relax after a day of activities. Enjoy a glass of wine while the kids swim in the pool. At night, turn on the patio lights and catch up with friends. We are surrounded by non-rental houses so peace and quiet is assured. You will be able to enjoy the relaxing tranquil waters of the bay and sleep peacefully at night.
The saltwater pool is surrounded by a flat open field which makes the back yard a fantastic place for games and hanging out. Bring the charcoal barbeque out and have an afternoon grill out.
Last but not least, the beach. The Gulf Shores beach, considered to be one of the best in the country, will not disappoint. It has beautiful white sand, crystal blue water and plenty of space. Heron's Hideaway is about 5-10 minutes walk to the public beach access or a minutes drive to public parking across the street from public access. We provide beach chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrellas.
