The smallest guestroom in the Chianti...
... you will be the only guests!
Our place provides opportunities for a unique and tranquil stay in the countryside while still allowing visitors to stay within easy reach of the most art-filled cities and Chianti

The space

You will be our only guests!
The organic guestroom is located against a magical background of woods, streams and vineyards. It is between Panzano and Greve in Chianti within easy reach of art-filled cities such as Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca and Pisa.

Our guestroom is a Tuscan-style loggia with exposed beams and terracotta tiles in a rustic barn recently restored in an environmentally-friendly manner. The cosy double room stays cool in summer and warm in winter (central pellet heating. NEWS: you will have an independant electric radiator too). From July on you will find an external shower to get refreshed in your garden.
The room has a private bathroom with showerbox, mosquito screens on windows and the door, a private entrance and garden with a table and umbrella.
A small outdoor kitchenette with refrigerator, kettle and simple cooker makes it possible to prepare breakfast and simple meals.
Organic products for breakfast on request and extra price: tea, coffee, milk, bread, homemade yogurts and fresh fruit jams from our trees, cheese or eggs

The garden between the wood and vineyards is ideal for spending a restful day. With a bit of luck, you will see the wild animals that live nearby, including deer, squirrels, wild boar, rabbits, porcupines, hoopoes, cuckoo, foxes, birds of prey and many others.

The atmosphere here is friendly and peaceful. Professional Shiatsu treatments are available in the house or under the sky (not available from June 30th to 20th August), not included in the price

Private parking. We suggest you to come by car. You can rent bikes or a vespa in Greve. If you come by foot we can pick you up, consider that we are at 30 minutes walk from Greve.

From May to October there is a restaurant in the neighbour farm.

Il Cielo was a fantastic place to stay! I traveled to Tuscany alone for a vacation, rented a car and drove to Michele's place. It was exactly what I was looking for, and exactly as (URL HIDDEN) is in the country, the hillside of Greve in Chianti. There is a long gravel road which leads you to the homes and it is lovely! I walked the road every morning and got to see the vineyards, farm animals, and beautiful views. Yes, it was intimidating to think of staying in the country alone, but Michele made it feel like I wasn't alone at all. She had great advice for seeing Tuscany and great conversations too. I opted to get the optional breakfast and so happy I did, I made a fresh hot breakfast with the fresh foods she provided in the outdoor kitchen. It was was so relaxing and personal to be able to cook and eat on my own, in a private patio while enjoying the sights and sounds. I also ate at the restaurant next door and it was really amazing food! The villa was very, very clean and modern, there is not a t.v., but that is perfect for spending time with a book or on walks, or just reflecting. I was made to feel like this was part of my home and couldn't have asked for more, including the family dog, what a great treat!! Thank you Michele for a great stay and I cant wait to see you again!

Michèle was a very good host, informative and very friendly. We enjoyed our stay at her place 'il cielo' which means 'the sky'. Her place is not too far from the center of greve in chianti but you need a car. The B&B is surrounded with vineyards and Michèle has her garden where she grows organic fruit and vegetables. She prepared an excellent organic breakfast for us. We enjoyed watching the stars in the sky during the night. Her dog was very friendly. The bed was really comfortable. We would definitely stay again at her place when we visit chianti the next time. Best regards, -Bala & Anvi (URL HIDDEN)

We had a lovely stay at Michele's Tuscan home. Everything was wonderful, the comfortable room, beautiful scenery outside, good location for exploring Tuscany, and Michele's warm hospitality. She gave us recommendations on whatever we were interested in doing in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed her shiatsu massage as well. Can't wait to come back. Grazie!

This piece of heaven was an absolute dream!!! It was very secluded and away from everything, and it was exactly what we needed! The host was so kind and very attentive to our every need! Her organic breakfast is a must! I'm sitting here thinking of her delicious bread and homemade jam! The room was super cute! And the bed was heavenly!! If you're considering this place, think no more and book now!!!!! I cannot wait to visit this place again!

This was so much more than a just place to stay. This was a serene and peaceful experience, part of a beautiful property and a relationship with a wonderful host. We received a warm welcome by Michele including a tray of coffee, water and fresh fruit from the garden, as well as a sit down session to go over recommendations in the area and the map. The house is located deep in the Tuscan hills next to few other homes, but next door to an amazing farm restaurant (must visit), complete serenity surrounded by vineyards. There are lovely outdoor sitting areas that are quaint and comfortable and the outdoor kitchen provides for a lovely experience when filled with Michele's amazing homemade yogurt, jam and bread and the fresh organic fruits from the property. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. No A/C on the hot week we were there was not a problem as the room is well insulated and stays very cool and comfortable. Michele continued to be a warm and helpful host throughout the stay. We experienced the pleasure of shiatsu massage with Michele which was a memorable and peaceful experience providing a feeling of complete wellness for the trip. The room is conveniently located close to the town of Greve which provides good food options and many nearby attractions including wine tastings. There are hiking trails on the property and the ability to horseback ride in the hills which provided amazing views. Cannot say enough good things out this stay. Truly something special and we cannot wait to come again!

We had the pleasure to stay at at Chianti Bio B&B. Michele was very friendly and polite. Unlike other AirBnBs, the room you went is actually part of her home. You are provided your own entrance, bathroom and separate backyard section. Michele provided us with fresh organic food such as yogurt, bread, jam, and eggs. She was very good and recommending local activities such as horseback riding and dining. She helped us with dinner reservations and made our stay very stress free.

We can't say enough good things about our stay at Il Cielo. Michele was so kind and welcoming and just a very genuine person. It was the best part of our trip from the delicious breakfasts of homemade yogurts and bread to the beautiful and serene environment to Michele's relaxing Shiatsu treatment (highly recommend!). Our favorite meal of our entire trip was had at the small restaurant next to our B&B. We would recommend this place to all our friends and family. We can't wait to come back!

I'm Michèle, I was born in Switzerland and I have lived in Tuscany for more than 20 years. In the picture you see my family while we were traveling in Marseille. We love travelling around Europe with our aged, but still functional, motorhome.

I love my little b&b, which has been carefully developed with love and attention. Every year we meet so many nice people with whom we exchange ideas, opinions and experiences. I am also a Shiatsu operator and find the world of Shiatsu and Traditional Chinese Medicine very fascinating. I
continue to attend courses to improve my skills, and offer shiatsu treatments to guests at our b&b.

My husband Fabrizio is from Florence, and is the architect of our beautiful house. He is a social worker and also takes care of the land surrounding the barn. He is big a fan of reggae and world music. Our children Gioia (Joy) and Miro are young students. Joy is already at high school, and is a budding flutist. Besides keeping busy with studying, she has many friends and loves music too. Miro still goes to elementary school in Greve, and likes Warhammer, Lego and battles. Down the river there is a vineyard and a few huts where he has fun with friends. Milou, our black kitten with white socks, will happily keep you company too when you stay at the b&b.
