Estelle and Ian are such nice hosts and Robin is a such sweet place to stay. Clean, relaxable, homeward comfortable, and transport-convenient. Strongly recommend!
I loved my stay at Robin's Nest. I stayed for 6 nights and it was perfect for me. Everything is clean and very well taken care of. It's small but efficient. I was very pleasantly surprised with all the extra's at hand, things like washing liquid for the washing machine, shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, breakfast basics, coffee and tea, towels and hair dryer in each room etc etc. The guesthouse is located very comfortably, the stairs to the guesthouse are situated on the main shopping street where you can find everything you need, including a subway station at 5min walking distance. The part of the guesthouse where I stayed feels like an apartment with 4 rooms and I ended up hanging out in the kitchen a lot. I didn't get to meet Estelle, but Ian was very friendly, easy-going, and helped me with recommendations and getting around in the city. The wifi was seamless and worked also perfectly fine for having Skype conversations in my room. I definitely plan to go back. Thanks so much Ian and Estelle! H
Although I didn't get to spend much time with Estelle and her husband due to my short stay in Seoul, I could tell how nice they are. They responded to my emails very quickly and helped me in everything I asked them.
The place itself is very nice and good located. It was comfortable and well equipped. I have no complaints whatsoever. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!!!!!!
Estelle and Ian are about the best people to meet in Seoul! Genuinely caring hosts with more sense to hospitality than a 5-star private concierge :)
I had a great time and can only recommend everyone looking for a guesthouse in Seoul to try Robin's Nest!
Oh, of course the room was as described, clean and the bed very comfortable..
Really great location and super clean and cute place ! It quickly feels like home :)
Estelle and Ian's guest house was a great place to stay for my first visit to Seoul. Estelle is great about staying in touch and taking care of anything that you need. The actual room is a great size, the air-con worked great and the bed was comfortable. It was nice having the shared kitchen as an option, and there was always breakfast available (though I never actually ate it). I requested an extra pillow as I'm a bit high maintenance when it comes to pillow quantity and Estelle went out and got me one! This was totally not necessary as it was just a request, but super thoughtful and nice of her. Having the washer and dryer was very convenient (who wants to come back from a trip to do laundry?)
The guest house is located in Itaewon, very close to the subway stop and in an area filled with a variety of restaurants to eat at! It is 70+ steps up to the door but it means that despite the great location, you are never disturbed by the noise from the street! Plus, who doesn't need a little functional exercise in their day?
I highly recommend this guest house for your stay!

I'm a researcher and a semi-professional actress. I also enjoy music, travel, cooking and meeting people! =)
I've travelled to many countries working on diverse international projects. Those frequent travels made me a professional backpacker ;-) During my stays outside Korea, I usually stayed in hotels for business but I also enjoyed staying in B&Bs and guesthouses where I can feel at home in a cozy and warm atmosphere. So oneday I made up my mind to open up my own guesthouse in my house in Korea for foreign travellers like me.
Actually I am on my long term biz trip at the moment with my hubby Ian, so my sister Lyn next to me in the photo is taking care of the house. She is a super host who will greet you with her big smile! Estelle and Lyn, we are just looking forward to meeting you!! :-)
