Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We had a wonderful stay at Robins Nest. It's situated in a central area to Itaewon with many local eateries and underground rail in close proximity. Highlights of Robins BnB was the classic decor and HEATED FLOORING (welcomed after a day outside in the cold). We enjoyed adventuring up a set of stairs but if you have lots of heavy bags coming around the rear side street might be better.
Estelle was a great host and before arrival had emailed us excellent directions. We flew in late and she met us that night with some great tips.
All in all we would definitely stay here again.

  • We had a great stay at Estelle's guesthouse. Both Estelle and her husband Ian welcomed us with open arms and even helped us with the luggages.

The floor is heated and it really does help during the cold weather. We absolutely love the washing machine and dryer. Those will definitely come in handy for those who are considering a long stay.

Even though we did not manage to stay in the room that we booked, we got an alternative that is equally good. The stairs to the guesthouse is a challenge by itself. If you are fit and game for a daily workout, you would not mind climbing up the stairs. Their guesthouse is ideal for backpackers and those who do not bring huge luggages.

Estelle was also very kind in drawing us a map on how to get to Itaewon subway station from their place. She also helped us in booking a jumbo cab for us to drive us to the airport as we had more than six luggages!

All in all, we had a great time and we would love to come back again soon :)

  • Estelle was very kind to accommodate our early arrival after landing in Seoul. Robin's Nest is in Itaewon, which is very lively with many restaurants, shops, and pubs. It is also a short walk away from the Itaewon subway station, which can take you to places like Myeongdong, and Gangnam. The kitchen has a stove, cookery, and utensils. There are also bread, a toaster, and a coffee maker. Even if you don't understand Korean, the TV has programming in English. The place is very well maintained and stocked for guests.

Thank you!

  • Ian and Estelle were there to welcome me when I checked in. The location is a little hard to find by cab if you (website hidden) map, but Estelle's directions are wonderful. Yes, there are steep stairs to get to the place so be ready if you have heavy luggage. Other option is have the cap drop you off at the upper street and go down the steps instead.
The room was clean and tidy, while the rest of the flat was well stocked with breakfast items/utensils and travel guides. The available washer/dryer was a godsend! There are two bathroom/showers so there was definitely no wait (there are 4 other rooms).
The location was extremely convenient in the main strip in Itaewon and a couple blocks from the station. Very easy to go check out nearby bars (District) and tons of restaurants nearby.
Was a welcome surprise that shampoo, wash, toothpaste were also provided, so really didn't need to bring much else.
The only drawback was that the alley access to the house is rather narrow for someone as big and tall as me.

  • Estelle is an amazing person and the nest is perfect for a visit to Itaewon. I contacted Estelle on short notice and she promptly replied and accommodated. I would recommend staying in this clean home and convenient location.

  • I stayed at Robin's Nest for a week, and it was a great place! I arrived in the evening, during the pouring rain, and Estelle let me in and greeted me. She got everything set up, and we talked for a while about Seoul. She was around a lot actually, and I met her and some other guests occasionally in the kitchen. I got some good recommendations for what to do (and eat!) while I was in town too, which is great because I hadn't planned much. The room and home was clean and well maintained. And the air conditioning was essential because it was soooo hot in July.

  • Robin's Nest located in Itaewon where it is convenient to get round Seoul and the Metro is less than 5 mins walk. The apartment is very easy to find if travelling from Metro/Airport bus but a little difficult when in a taxi/car. To get to Robin's Nest you would have to overcome the long steep stairs which is quiet tiring especially if you have a heavy baggage (good exercise though). The apartment is clean, homely and the bed itself was really comfortable. There are 2 bathrooms including shampoo/conditioner so no need to bring your own, kitchen equipped with toaster, coffee maker, etc.. The pantry/fridge has plenty of bread, cereals, milk, butter, jam etc.. for a light breakfast. My booking was made the day before my arrival to Seoul so I highly appreciated Estelle for her efficiency and accommodating me (also very friendly and approachable). Thank you! Definitely recommend Robin's Nest =)

  • Estelle and her guesthouse are wonderful!
Estelle's very open, friendly and helpful. She's always ready to answer any question about accommodation, visiting Seoul, restaurants to eat, places to shop... And she gives really good advice! Following her recommendations we found a lot of amazing places in Seoul!
The guesthouse, Robin's nest, is cozy, clean and really nice. It's located in a really convenient area so i totally recommend it for everyone, especially foreigners. Here you can find all you need, and what is important a lot of people here speak english.
Thank you for everything Estelle, hope to see you again!

I'm a researcher and a semi-professional actress. I also enjoy music, travel, cooking and meeting people! =) I've travelled to many countries working on diverse international projects. Those frequent travels made me a professional backpacker ;-) During my stays outside Korea, I usually stayed in hotels for business but I also enjoyed staying in B&Bs and guesthouses where I can feel at home in a cozy and warm atmosphere. So (website hidden) I made up my mind to open up my own guesthouse in my house in Korea for foreign travellers like me. I'm looking forward to meeting you!! :-)
