Full 3rd floor of a row house on a great block in Red Hook. Apartment has a large balcony, fully equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. Furnished with vintage Danish pieces from my collection.
Full sized bed and sofa as well as available air bed. Located in Red Hook and near Carol Gardens, Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill. Easy free parking in the area. B61 bus stop on the corner and 15 min to the F train.
Great apartment and location. Clean. Decent shower. Comfy bed. All round very good - I would recommend to anyone.
David was a super nice guy. The apartment, is suitable for one or two adults, who are interested in roughing it for a short stay. We stayed with our 4 year old, and we ended up not staying (but paid for) the full 3 weeks we booked. It's about 200-250 sq feet including the kitchen and bathroom. David is kind enough to remove any furniture that is in your way that he stores there, if you ask him to.
There are personal effects in the bathroom and various overdue items in the refrigerator. I did my best to clean it out and move things around, but was not able to make it work for us.
Convenient if you wanna be on foot in Redhook, super cute town in the big city.Clean and safe, bed was bouncy but actually really confortable. David and Julie are very kind and easy. We will stay there agin likely due to the location. Of note, not super homey as it serves as a storage unit as well as a rental. Great for a place to sleep.
Due to a full-house at my apartment, I set up my visiting parents to stay at David's place in Red Hook. The apartment was great- cozy and decorated with gorgeous modern furniture (and an amazing bathroom!). David was super accommodating in regards to checking-in and checking-out. The location is great- Red Hook is a really fun neighborhood. Some of my favorite bars are at the end of the street and there is a great coffeeshop/bakery around the corner. We were only there one evening but it was an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend any friends to stay there.
We actually never got to stay in Davids place because of hurricane Sandy. There were no power in that neighborhood. So unfortunately we had to cancel. I was in contact with David the whole time and he was very gracious and understanding regarding the whole situation. I'm giving him 4 stars just because of that and will book his place again for sure.
David is a great host. Super nice and knowledgeable about the neighborhood (which I love). He's got a fun collection of vintage furniture he rotates in the apartment. I love the small back porch on the apartment.
David's place in Red Hook was great. Not a 100% finished apartment, but it was exactly what I needed. Thanks!
