Beautiful place. Great hot tub and fire pit. Owners are friendly and accommodating to guests. We would definitely choose to stay here again!
Our overnight at Steelhead was a wonderful way to get out of Portland. The farm is beautiful and relaxing with the most gracious owners/hosts. The guest cabin is spacious and comfortable. We will be back, especially to see Chevas!
Our one-night stay at Steelhead Ranch was wonderful. Directions to the farm were clear, and our hosts were available promptly by message/text whenever we had a question. The dog and cats were calm and friendly and walked with us around the grounds.
The cabin is clean, by which I mean spotless! without feeling at all sterile. The bed is comfortable, with cozy flannel sheets; no clutter, but the gas fireplace and packets of tea/cider/cocoa are homey touches. Appreciated the plentiful mugs, glassware, silverware, and paper towels. Spacious bathroom and shower. Just a really nice private-feeling place with a view of the woods.
The hot tub was all ready to go and we had it to ourselves. Great temperature for a nice long soak. In the morning, the kids were nice enough to show us their rabbits and tell us a little about them.
Overall, it's low-key but great attention to detail and comfort. Highly recommend!
Beautiful location, wonderful hosts. We were given a tour of the farm, they made fires for us in the pit and engaged us in conversation. The unit was perfect as well!
It was a great place to stay - the hosts were communicative and helpful, easy to coordinate. The location was delightful - rustic, picturesque, great log cabin!
I stayed at the ranch for a romantic weekend with my boyfriend for my birthday. We had a great time! The cabin was perfect, super cute, clean, & comfortable. It was really nice to relax in the jacuzzi tub, and we enjoyed a fire outside at night. Our host was really nice and helpful. Great place to stay!!!
I rented this cabin for my boyfriend's birthday and we had a wonderful time! We are both very busy and I was looking to create a weekend of relaxation. We took advantage of the hot tub and really just enjoyed hanging out in the cozy cabin. The ranch is so beautiful and it is such a nice break from the city. Yet it's close enough to Hood River so you can still get out and about if you want to. The hosts are really nice and they were very helpful in planning activities before I arrived. Oh, and Chevas might be one of the cutest dogs ever.
