Casa Coco is the epitome of tropical coastal living; imagine your bronzed body relaxed on the sofa after a fun day on the beach, sipping a margarita under the palapa roof as the sun sets over the Pacific....the palm and higuera trees bathed in pastel colors, the wash of the golden surf relaxing your total being....the jungle comes alive with it's nightly song of geckos and crickets, as the village lights appear across the bay, along with the first stars. The jasmine-scented breeze and soft music from the village alert your senses and it's time to stroll into town to dine on incredible shrimp chile rellenos or fish tacos, more tequila, some live salsa music.... and then a lazy walk back to su casa along the beach.......Hmmmm.....day after day......this could be your vacation!

The north side of town is wonderfully quiet! Easy to get to town and back for a quiet night!

Fabulous location, beautiful property, I could not have been happier during my stay. Of note, I stayed in this space as a single traveling female and could not have felt more safe. I highly recommend staying here.
The place was beautiful, and very spacious. I was in town for a wedding and it was an excellent place for me to come back to at night and relax. The air conditioner worked great and I felt very secure. Would stay again!
I booked this wonderful place for my Pre-30th birthday vacation with family. My mom and sister had never been to Mexico before and the space was absolutely perfect for us. Very clean, well stocked with all necessities, and a healthy short walk to the beach and town. The view of the ocean and the sunset each night was out of this world amazing!
I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a chill spot right near the beach and close enough to the action, yet far enough away to relax and enjoy a nice retreat away from the hustle and bustle.
There was an adorable family of stray dogs just down the road (mom, dad and two puppies) that stole our hearts! If you visit soon, please give them a treat and a kiss for me!
The apt was fantastic! The directions were very helpful and the caretaker, Jorge, was also very accommodating. The view is absolutely spectacular and makes staying at home a vacation in itself. The center of Sayulita is about a 10-15 min walk. It's up a hill but worth the climb for the view. This is a great way to spend any amount of time in Sayulita. It's very quiet and safe.
The unit is beautiful, as you can see the from the pictures. It's in a mellow, residential part of town, and does have that little hill which can be a pain when it's super hot.
The hosts use another service (automatically, it seems) called bigbridge which will send you messages about your stay, potentially request a deposit that you already paid through Airbnb, and contain extended notes for the stay requiring you to use its clunky website. It's needlessly confusing.
We also had some issues with the notes to get into the unit and expectations for things in the unit not matching (cell phone to contact building manager, for example), so we had a little trouble. I've provided this feedback to Craig/Regina/Camille/whomever actually manages this unit, so hopefully they'll look into it and it won't be an issue for other guests.
The views are killer.
Thanks to Craig's immaculate directions that we printed out before the trip, we were able to find Casa Caramba easily. We arrived a bit before 4 pm and were able to enter the house early, which was great. The house is even better than it looks in the photos -and the ocean view from the outdoor living room is absolutely breathtaking! Jorge, the manager, and Coco, the housecleaner, were really friendly and efficient. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to make awesome Mexican food. Craig even has Netflix set up to watch on the TV - and the internet connection is even faster than mine is at home! The bedroom has a really nice shower and a huge King Size bed where we could watch the crazy lightning shows every night. This was my first time back to Sayulita in 15 years, and I was so stoked to have such a great place to stay in. I like that the house was up on the hill and not in the center of town. The town had grown a great deal since I'd last been there, but it still has a pretty chill surfer vibe. The waves got pretty decent by the end of the week, and it was cool to be able to use the foam boards in the garage. I highly recommend this place and am already dreaming of going back.

I bought Casa Caramba after numerous vacations with my sons to Sayulita. We fell in love with the town and this property. It is owner managed, lovingly cared for, with great attention to detail. My assistant, Camille, and I are there for our guests 24/7 as needed. I can offer lots of advice on what to do and where to eat, and other tips for an enjoyable vacation.
