  • Good basic accommodation, not far from the city center. The house keeper was very nice, but doesn't speak much English. All in all a fun stay in Dublin!

  • Past reviews about this room have summed it up perfectly. The location is decent and it's a place to rest your head at night, take a shower and have access to a kitchen. For the price you are paying for Dublin, it's a pretty good value. Do not expect anything fancy when booking.

  • I really want to write a positive review for this place because Constantine was so friendly and welcoming, but the truth is, we didn't have the most comfortable stay. I'll write my list of pros and cons and you can decipher for yourself if this place will be suitable for you.

    Pros:
    Cheap
    Access to the kitchen
    Refrigerator in your room
    Free wifi
    Friendly welcome
Enough privacy to not feel like you're stepping on other's toes and visa versa
DART and bus station are about a 10/15 minute walk

    Cons:
Stiff, noisy bed and a flat, hard pillow that gave me a neck ache for our entire stay in Dublin.
The shower was either freezing cold or burn your skin off hot and the pressure was too soft to clean all of the soap/shampoo off
Pretty far from the city center. It was a 30 to 40 minute walk. We don't mind walking, so walking that far to reach the sights we wanted to see wasn't all that bad. We didn't take the bus because we're on a tight budget and transportation tickets add up real quick. If you prefer to take public transportation than this location won't be as inconvenient.

I personally wouldn't stay here again, mostly because the bed/pillows prevented me from getting a good nights rest. (And the shower sucked). Perhaps the other rooms are different, I don't know.

  • Elitsa's place was nice and not far from the city center. Though I have never met her personally but my messages were replied promptly and Mr Constantine is always ever ready to help. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay in Dublin, this is a great place to stay.

  • Fine sleep. If you're looking to get to know a local host and what not this is not the place for you. It's a bed and breakfast minus the breakfast, with four rooms and a housekeeper. It's very cozy and clean. A bit cold but there are space heaters in the rooms and in the bathroom.

    Response from Elitsa:

Liam is a nice guest. He is always welcome back. I must clarify that we do not offer breakfast in this house. There is a kitchen available for self catering that every guest can use.

  • The room was basic, but clean and warm. Thank you.
I think I was the only visitor during the week I stayed, which made use the shared rooms (lounge, kitchen and bathroom) more comfortable than they would otherwise be the case.
    Thanks again.

  • The old couple we very friendly, we were able to leave our luggage there as we had a late flight. There were some language barriers, however Elitsa was only a text away if we needed anything. Lovely place to stay and not a far walk from the centre at all.

  • It was a great trip to Dublin, thank's to Elisa's room. It's very closed to the city center, we never took the bus to downtown.
The man who welcomed us, Constantin, was really helpfull and nice !
The house is clean and the kitchen practice to cook, we found every thing we needed.
    Definitely recommended !!
