We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Milena and Richard's beautiful home. We were in town for a wedding at Valley Green Inn and wanted to stay nearby, so the location of this B&B was perfect. Our room was calm, quiet and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed exploring the nearby Morris Arboretum, running in Wissahickon Park (the entrance is a couple blocks away), waking up to birdsong, and chatting with Milena and her daughters - who were wonderful hosts - over delicious, fresh-baked bread at breakfast. We would definitely stay here again when we are next in Philadelphia.
Milena and Richard were very friendy and offer a nice and comfortable room in their lovely home. The neighbourhood is very nice and offers some good shopping and eating out at close proximity.
Milena gave us good tips on where to go and what to see. All in all a perfect B&B for sighseeing in Philadelphia.
We stayed with Milena and Richard for three nights. The room was clean, the breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh (Milena is a wonderful baker), and the whole family was friendly and helpful. Milena is a wealth of information about the area, which was really terrific since our daughter, who we were visiting, is new to Philly; Milena's great tips helped us all. We look forward to going back.
I was in town for a conference in Conshohoken and thoroughly enjoyed my three night stay. My room, with private bath, was clean and warm. Milena and Richard were both really friendly and made me feel at home. The nearby Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy neighborhoods are just a stone's throw away, with great restaurants and lots to explore. Will definitely look to stay here again next time!
Milena and Richard were friendly and helpful hosts, their children were very nice and even Jasper the dog seemed pleased to see us each time we returned to their home.
Milena recommended the perfect bus route into the city and we spent a very interesting day seeing the sights. The huge snowfall during our last week was dealt with quickly by the city and so it didn't disrupt our stay.
Such a nice stay! Milena and Richard were very welcoming! Breakfast was delicious, and they gave us great suggestions for what to do in the area. Thank you!
This was our first experience with airbnb and it was a good one. The home is beautiful. Richard, Milena and their family were gracious hosts.
