What makes our totally remodeled mountain home so special?

•Quick lift access – walk to gondola or free shuttle at the door
•Four queen beds – handcrafted Western pine
•Great location – three minute walk to the historic downtown restaurants and shops
•Western décor – antiques, photos, cowboy chaps & much more
•Elevator & hot tubs – you’ll be happy for them at day’s end
Total remodel plus we put in $15,000 in remodeling in the past two years alone. Last year a new 50 inch LED TV, new Blu Ray DVDs, Old Hickory log cabin dining set, a closet remodel, new hot water heater, full-size washer & dryer, new full-size refrigerator, new ultra-quiet dishwasher and more.
Our spacious, updated condo is in a great location for both skiing and nightlife. The layout is great for two families: two private suites, each with full bath & two queen-sized handcrafted Western pine log beds. This is our second home and we’ve outfitted it like a home – not a motel.
Our slope-side location on the Four O’Clock Ski Run makes getting on and off the slopes a delight. After you’ve enjoyed your runs, you’ll be back at home soaking in one of our great hot tubs while other skiers are still walking back to their condos. Our ski access at the front door is by free shuttle to all lifts and even other resort towns. O head for the gondola (2 blocks) or Snowflake lift (1200 feet). For fun in the evening, you will be only a two minute walk from the heart of downtown. No exaggeration – we’ve timed it.
The condo is totally remodeled with new kitchen, fireplace, and bathrooms. It features comfy new furniture, LCD cable TV, DVD player, and free high speed internet. The kitchen is very well-equipped if you want to eat in, but there are restaurants and bars in all price ranges within two blocks. Two outdoor gas grills are convenient for your use, and two supermarkets are a few blocks away. A washer and dryer are in the unit. The floor-to-ceiling, south-facing windows provide warmth and a view of Mount Baldy from the private balcony. The gas fireplace feels wonderful after a day of skiing.
Your car will be protected in covered parking within the building and the elevator will be a big help in getting your belongings to the unit. A ski closet immediately by the front door protects your ski equipment. Enjoy our snow sleds, books, games and movies.
The fun Western décor will provide plenty of conversation. Along with Western posters, old cowboy photos and antique photos of Breckenridge, you’ll find authentic Indian handicrafts, cowboy chaps, hats and spurs, and a real deer skin Indian shirt. Check out the Clint Eastwood movie poster in Portuguese.
Our building (at the corner of Ski Hill Rd and S Park Ave) recently completed a multimillion dollar exterior remodel. Free buses stop immediately in front to take you to all parts of the Breck ski resort, throughout Breck, and to three other ski resorts: Keystone, Copper Mountain, and Arapahoe Basin. Vail is an easy drive.
Please, for the comfort of all our guests, NO pets and NO smoking anywhere in the complex including balconies..
Guests have full access in the condo, with the exception of an owner's closet.
We are always available to answer questions, provide information or suggestions, and solve problems. Just call or email. But self check-in using our electronic door locks means no wasting time driving to some office for keys. Airbnb makes it difficult for me to communicate with guests so please do not hesitate to contact me.
You couldn't ask for a better location -- read what other guests have to say. In the heart of town and all its fun, yet minutes from the slopes. The Four O'clock Run comes to the door...and that's no exaggeration.
Walk three minutes to the heart of town. And free public buses run constantly -- from right in front of our condo -- to take you almost anywhere you want to go, including other ski resorts -- Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, and Copper Mountain. Drive to Vail for the day if you want.
You have access to the entire condo, except for a small owner's storage area.
Interaction with Guests
I am available by phone and email to help you throughout your stay. All emergency contact numbers are posted on the refrigerator.
Our condo has an amazing location -- three minutes walk to downtown restaurants, shopping and bars -- ski right to the elevator if you want -- walk to gondola or catch free full size bus right out front to all base areas.
Free shuttle buses directly in front can take you around town, to all Resort base areas and to three nearby ski resorts -- Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin.
First, have a great vacation. Next, please no pets and no smoking of tobacco or any other products in the unit, on balconies, or on grounds. Smoke mitigation costs $250, a fee that would be billed to you along with any necessary legal fees for collection. And, finally, quiet time is 10:00 pm through 8:00 am -- those times are set by Breckenridge law and enforced by the police.
Steve and Anne's place was exactly what my friends and I were looking for. The apartment was just as described and pictured. Very comfortable for the four of us and located a block from Main St. Although we never met, Steve and Anne were more than available and helpful in making our stay as easy as possible. I highly recommend staying here, and will not hesitate to stay again!
Place was excellent Anne and Steve were in constant contact throughout with answers and the unit was easy and very accessible.
What a beautiful condo! It was ski-in (not ski-out) but only a few minutes walk from either the gondola or snowflake lift. I came with a party of 8 which was the max that the unit could sleep and it did not feel too cramped. Steve even e-mailed me and let me know there were 2 additional showers by the hot tubs that could be used. There was a ski locker for easy storage of equipment and the condo was so close to main street, everything was simple. Steve stayed in constant communication throughout and even gave me a heads up the night before about some scratches on the wall from a previous renter.
I actually did a bad job planning this trip and forgot we were flying in fairly early so could use an earlier check-in. I only remembered the night before and Steve graciously checked in with the cleaners to make sure the unit was ready. By the time my flight had landed, he had made sure the unit was ready an extra 2 hours earlier.
I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent place to stay. The condo was immaculately kept. The ski in aspect cannot be overstated. Extremely convenient. Great hosts. Great place to stay. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
One of the best experiences I have had on a mountain! The condo is amazing and so much fun. Our group of friends loved it and will be back again for sure. It was so nice to be able to ski down to the condo.
We loved the house. This place was very comfortable, a perfect ski in and ski out location in the Heart of Breck! We did not have to drive anywhere and were only two blocks from the main gondola. Steve and Anne checked in a few times to ensure our stay was all squared away.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome and comfortable!
This condo was amazing! It is even nicer than the listing lead me to believe. The location is perfect for skiing, a short walk to the gondola, or step outside and catch the shuttle. Nothing better than ending your day on a run that you can literally ski up to the building, walk 50 feet, and you're home.
The kitchen is well stocked to cook any meals you need. There is ample sleeping space for everyone in the comfortable beds, and in case you need it the couch sleeps very well too. The gas fireplace is awesome, and the view from the living room is amazing. All you have to do is cross the street (it's right on a crosswalk too!) and you can explore downtown.
Anne & Steve were super helpful and gave us plenty of recommendations (Fatty's Pizza!!). I definitely recommend anyone coming to Breckenridge stay here, you can't beat it!
About the Host, Steve And Anne
My wife and I are a retired couple and are avid outdoors people who love hiking, biking, and travel. We split our time between Arizona and Colorado, a near perfect combination. When we travel we prefer to stay in apartments owned by individuals, not in big resorts or high-rise buildings. As for renting out our own ski condo, we have been very fortunate to have thoughtful renters who appreciate our place as much as we do.
