Our trip to Punta Uva was really great! We had a great time on cottage. There was everything what we need! The house is simple, cozy and fully equiped. The manager Eddie helped us with all we need. He is very special person! The location is calm and front to the beach - just a few steps. There s a mini market and a restaurant next too. Best regards!
Connies house is very cosy an we spent some amazing days here.
We didn't meet Connie but Eddie. He's taking care of the house and he really is a nice guy and a super host and helped us whenever we needed something.
The house is well equipped and in good condition. There is a lovely balcony and a garden. We especially liked the garden shower where you can wash off the sand coming from the beach.
The cabin is situated right next to the sea in a very quiet area. We were almost alone at the beach which is just in front of the house. The main beach of punta uva is about 1 minute away (by feet). There is also a little supermarket which sells all the necessary things (but is quite expensive).
There is a little bar/restaurant where you can have a drink and eat something, they have wifi as well.
To get to Puerto Viejo you can either take the bus which goes every 2 hours and takes you to the village in about 20 minutes. You can walk (2 hours) or rent a bike.
We definitely can recommend you this place!
Great private cabin right next to the beach, kitchen had everything needed. There is a restaurant 1 min walk down the rd and a market about 5 mins down the main rd. If you want to check out some great Caribbean cooking go to Lydia's in town. The care taker Eddie is a super nice guy willing to help you out with any questions you might have
