You will have a great time staying in this newly renovated 2 bedroom, wheel chair accessible bathroom apartment. We have a spacious, open-concept kitchen and livingroom suitable for larger families or even hosting a small gathering or event. Located in the country 1/2 way between Indianapolis, IN and Dayton OH, you will find easy access to I 70. This apartment is pet friendly ($15/night) and is equipped with fenced yards for exercise.
The space
You will enjoy the spacious, open concept living room and kitchen. Dining is at the kitchen island however, for an alternative, there are portable tray tables in each bedroom that can be moved for normal height seating. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, range, microwave, toaster, mixer, keurig (variety of pods supplied), cookware, utensils, dinnerware both glass and more kid friendly plastic options. The tap water is completely safe to drink and use for cooking but we do offer a water cooler with bottled water. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a full bed, there is also a twin size air mattress or guests will often use the sectional sofa. Each bedroom and the living room have televisions with DirectTv service. The patio has an umbrella table and chairs and a fire pit with dry firewood supplied in the deck box. The laundry room also serves as the clinic maintenance room and is divided from the apartment with a deadbolt lock. The laundry appliances are only used for apartment laundry and our hand drying towels, veterinary laundry is never washed/dried in these appliances. The next door to the right is the second exit for the apartment. The exit is well marked and straight ahead.
Guest access
The entire apartment is exclusive for your stay except the laundry room/maintenance room if my husband needs to work on the boiler, furnace, air, etc. There is a deadbolt lock on the apartment side that separates this area.
Self check-in instructions are sent to client the morning of arrival at the latest with detailed directions.
Other things to note
You will have a better cell phone experience if you connect your phone to our wifi and set your phone to do wifi calling. Our cell service is spotty in this area but the excellent wifi service saves the day. A landline phone is located in the master bedroom, feel free to use it for domestic calling. We have the ringer turned down so you aren't bothered with the clinic phone traffic. You may want to cover the display screen with a washcloth if the light from it bothers you.

Country setting, close to a small village. Located between Hagerstown and Richmond Indiana. Richmond offers an arboretum, fossil beds, Earlham College, Joseph Smith Museum, Wayne County Historical Museum, Depot District, Jazz Historical Sights, Several niche restaurants and shops. This walkout basement apartment is part of a small animal veterinary hospital. There is a private entrance. The housed animals are secured away from the apartment not even on the same level) and are typically quiet unless actively engaged by a staff member. There are secure fenced areas for the pets of guests and there is no 'co-mingling" of guest pets with pets associated with the hospital. The apartment is not utilized at all for activities with hospital pets.
