Our stays at Irena's house was excellent. The house is just as described. The scenery is really beautiful. Irena is very kind and thoughtful. She left a bottle of wine and some chocolates to receive us.
The house was warm, it was cold but we had the fortune of having 4 gorgeous days. If we liked it so much, I would like to see the site in summer.
Irena is a guide so she knows the region very well and her directions and recommendations are flawless.
The only downside would be that for winter is a bit far from the main tourist attractions. In summer I guess I wouldn't want to go anywhere.
We drove from Paris. One tip: don't trust your GPS.
Thank you Irena.
We felt very welcomed in Irena and Bernard's lovely restored home. They thoughtfully left home-made jam, fresh vegetables from their garden, and local wine. The rooms were very clean and spacious, each with its own shower. Both rooms and baths were decorated in a refined and authentic manner. The house is very calm, and the Cevennes region around is lovely to visit. Irena gave great advice about local restaurants and activities. Worth the stay.
It is a lovely Mas!! We spent a great time with Irena and had great chats together . We enjoyed the tasty breakfast served on the terrace. Everything was very clean and nice furnished. The Mas is located on a calm place, in natural surroundings. We hope to come back soon again!!
