The space

Great apartment with modern kitch/living room on 1st floor very cutely decorated. Clean and spacious. On th e2nd floor a warm wood mezzanine bedroom +walk in closet, plus a 3rd level chill out terrace with gorgeous sea, sky, stars and mountain view.

The apartment doesn´t have AC or TV, you are supposed to live like a local, but there are fans to keep you cool!

You can cook, relax, read, feel inspired, I treat it as my retreat, very good energy around!

Short walk to the beach, though a charming path with a local church. The beach is huge with white sand, the ocean is quite active so it is good for surfing.

This apartment is part of Vila Harmonia, a boutique B&B that my mother manages, so if you are a big group you can also rent a bigger apartment on this site (website hidden)

Wifi is included, I can give you the password!

The airport is 15m away from my place, and it should cost about 35 reais.

Campeche is the latest cool place of Floripa, it is easy access and getting a lot of new visitors and action. It is a great beach and good for surfing. Also very laid back, and safe, you can walk around on shorts and flip flops, not a lot of parties, more residential but still one of the best places in the island to be, very local.

Eat at the pizza place at the corner at the house, it is delicious,Forneria Capela I think!! There is also a little grocery store on the corner of the street, and a big supermarket filled with yummy stuff (and fresh eggs on demmand) 10m walk away. In the summertime you also find some snacks at the beach right in front, or walk furthermore for restaurants!

On Avenida Pequeno principe nearby, there are a lot of other restaurants with all choices of food, sushi, brazilian, organic, bakery, cafes etc...The organic restaurant is great- Flor do Grao, and organic supermarket with the best banana cake you will ever try in your life - Casarão Verde.

Walk to the beach trough the church and cemitery, it is cool, and stay at that beach if you like calm, or walk to your right 15m you´ll be at the cool beach with bar and volleyball and girls in bikinis! The whole sh´bam!

You can rent a boat and go to the island in front (the one you can see from my rooftop). Its cool but it will take you a whole day so its not that cool if you can be doing something else.

Travel to other places of the island (but rent a car first, taxis are sometimes complicated) Or a scooter!

Jurere is a neighbourhood in the north where all the "show me the money" action happens, its a mix of St tropez and Ibiza! be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for everything!

Eat at DONNA (great great food) party at CAFE DE LA MUSIQUE (these are the best all the other places are cool also but teenage crowd mostly)

In the city center is more city environment, you can go to the fresh fish market at BOX 51 its well known little restaurant with great fish tapas...Also ATALIBA has the best brazilian meat barbecue, get ready to eat till you drop... (choose a rainy day cause you´ll stay there long and will want to sleep after)
El DIVINO LOUNGE is a great complex to have dinner in the restaurant(same kind of menu as Donna) or sushi in the patio with dj or live music, and then go into the club, lots of beautiful people there and it is always full!!

In Lagoa da Conceição, 15m drive from the house, is where all the hippies and more local crowd goes, still fun to see and cool alternative restaurants and cafés more laid back, lots of veggie organic places to eat and international cuisine as well, thai, indian, japanese, yum yum yummmm...Also a cool irish pub (BLACK SWAN) and other live band bars like John Bull...

Nearby are the beaches Joaquina where you can go sandsurfing on the dunes, and Praia Mole, the famous surfer beach, very cool and unpretentious, but still gorgeous people and great international beach infrastructure! Also a gay and nudist beach nearby!

South of the Island you get the best live fresh oysters at OSTRADAMUS in Ribeirão da ilha, wich is a local fishermans community... go at sunset since restaurants have like a pier inside the water and sun sets with an amazing view!

Bou can also get some nice sunset at Santo Antonio de Lisboa, with some nice oyster bars as well, a bit more fancy but very cool place!

Enjoy Floripa! I am sure you will love it (if its not raining)!

I just spent 2 weeks staying at this triplex apartment in Campeche with my boyfriend. Interacting with Livia, the host, and her mom (who lives adjacent to the apartment) was an absolute pleasure. Livia is exuberant and filled with information about both Campeche as well as the island. Her mother was very kind and made us both feel welcome. A few general thoughts about the experience: -- The house is one of the cuter Airbnb rentals I've stayed in. It's tiny, but well-decorated, and your basic essentials are provided in terms of kitchen equipment, etc. One thing to be aware of is that the apartment lacks A/C (which is mentioned in Livia's description). While it wasn't a surprise to not have A/C, the bedroom did not have a ceiling fan, and the floor fans didn't fully cool the space -- so depending on the season you visit, it could be very hot in the bedroom. (we were there in March and the average temp in the house was in the 80s). -- Campeche beach is spectacular. It's very isolated, with gorgeous, windswept dunes. The beach is only a 10 minute walk from the house, and is very popular with local surfers. Other than the beach, a pharmacy and 2 restaurants, there aren't many other things within walking distance of the house. You will absolutely want a car if you're staying here and would like to explore beyond the immediate environs. There is a bus stop right by the house, and the buses are relatively easy to use, but what would be a 30 - 45 minute drive can take 2 - 3 hours by bus (with transfers). - The roof deck furnishings (curtains, cushioned seating area) that are pictured in the photos are no longer on the roof. There is just the hammock and 1 plastic lounge chair. Still, it's a great place to chill out in the early morning or at sunset and the views of the dunes, water and island in the distance are gorgeous.

We were in Livia's apartment for 14 nights during Carnival 2014 and had a great time. The place is conveniently located a short 5 minute walk from the beach. A very recommendable burge place, Ponto X, can be seen from the spacious, yet sparcely furnished rooftop terrace. The apartment itself is conveniently and comfortably furnished and has everything you need to cook up the occasional meal. Livia's Mum was very helpful and friendly and speaks english which was great for us since we don't speak any portuguese. Campeche is great, the beach is wide, the sea invites hordes of Surfers and Kiters, we enjoyed every moment and would recommend the apartment without hesitation.

The place is really beautiful! It is comfortable, spacey, well equipped and has an awesome terrace. Campeche is a really quiet area, specially at night. A car is almost mandatory if you want to know the island, but that holds true for the other areas as well since the island is really big. The beach is a walk away and there is a grocery store and pharmacy less than a block away.

The apartment is very cosy and good equipped. We really enjoyed the walk to the beach through the path passing the little church and cemetery. Just idyllic! Even if you find most of what you need close by, a car or a scooter is necessary if you want to see more of the island or for more diversed food shopping. We walked to Morro do Lampiao (behind the house) from where you have an amazing view of the region with the see. Livia's mom was helpful explaining the way. She had also some hints for the swimming event to the island of Campeche. Unfortunately we had to leave that day. We loved it!

Since I´m never in my official home, my apartment in Florianopolis, you can rent it and stay there! Amazing place, seaview rooftop terrace, cute decor (very girly), my mom (cool mom) lives besides it so you will have someone to give you some tips on the area!
