Christopher was very responsive through text messaging with any questions I had. The apartment itself was clean upon arrival, but there was only a sheet cover instead of a blanket to stay warm at night in bed. The heater luckily kept the place very warm as needed during the recent "snow storm," so I hope the host gets a blanket for the next guest. The place is fairly small, and the cabinet door below the kitchen did fall off which needed some maintenance, but it was a cozy place overall. The stairs to get to the studio was fairly steep and did look pretty run-down, but it's something that the host can't really change as it's part of the apartment complex and not the studio itself. What's disappointing is that a TV is available, but without a cable box hooked up to it. Pretty misleading since the TV does no good without the channels. Overall, I would still recommend this place during a getaway to Boston since the location is great and the studio was clean at the time of my trip.
Terrible place to stay at
This listing shouldn't be approved to stay on
This place is nothing like the pictures he posted
Once we walked into this run down place, we texted him to tell him so, his answer was there no refund.
I could agree with the no refund had we changed plans but to post something and sell something and then then deliver something else, then that is a problem.
Will file a complaint with Airbrb, and will contact my Amex to get out money back.
I had great time staying at the apartment. The apartment looks smaller than it is in the pictures. we're still able to move around. However, the building seems to run out, the staircase and wall dont feel stable enough. You can literally hear the sound from upstair. Overall, my staying in Christopher's house was great. He was easy to communicate with and very helpful in instruction.
This studio was pretty good for short trip. The apartment is a quite small place but it was clean and nice enough to stay for a short time. Location is really great for everything.
This studio was great for our trip. It's ideal for anyone in town for a short visit. The apartment is in a great area with plenty of places to eat and close to the subway. Definitely would recommend.
Unlike all comments about the size of the place, we have find enough space to move along the studio. But we had no hot water during our entire staying (2nights/3days). After some exchanges with Christopher we were waiting for a feedback. We didn't had any news since we call him, the day after. Regardless the hot water shortage (in the entire building) and we are really conscious, that type of problem could happen almost anywhere and unfortunately it isn't under anyone's control. But as your "host" we were expecting a more human consideration and a better professional reactivity. We will probably not coming back to your place, it doesn't mean that we won't recommand it, thanks to its location/comfortableness. Be aware, this problem could happen again!
Book this place LAST MINUTE, as in the day of. I have no real complaints. It's definitely a small place. I wouldn't recommend more than one person because two would be pushing it a bit. Overall, I would stay there again because the location is really what's great. It's close to a lot things, like whole foods and the T is just a few blocks away.
Great price for great accommodations in a fun and vibrant area. Easy to get to everything. I hope to stay again!
Amazing place! The area around the apartment was beautiful and very close to the subway stop. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area as well. The place is a little small but it was perfect for two people to stay in (especially since you're out wandering most of the time!). Very close to Wholefoods as well. I would definitely recommend staying at this apartment!
