The Space

Great, safe location with close proximity to 3 great subway lines, G, L, JMZ. You are 10 minutes away from great party area, Lower East Side and walking distance to all the great bars and restaurants in Williamsburg, one of the hippest parts of New York. We are also near McCarren Park where there is always a lot of summer fun going on and I'll be happy to point you in the right direction of all the good places to go.

Williamsburg is a GREAT neighborhood with lots of great beer gardens and out door event during the summer. It's also a little more chill and spacious than the city but exceptionally convenient to get into.

The bedroom has a very comfortable full size fold out futon bed, which also has a memory foam pad for extra comfort. You can fold it as a couch or leave it open and there is still plenty of space.

There is an empty large closet and an additional storage space for you to use. 2 large windows and access to a fire escape.

You will be sharing with me (an actor/intuitive life coach and an artist), potentially another cool air bnber and a dog so you must like dogs and be comfortable with them.

We share a kitchen and bathroom. Its a cool place in an older style building on the 3rd floor. It is a walk up.

Very New York! There is lots of light.

There is a large drugstore right across the street which is very convenient and a deli right downstairs. We are also walking distance to good supermarkets etc.

I have a bike you are welcome to use with a $100 deposit, which is a great way to check out the neighborhood or even take a ride over the Williamsburg bridge into the city. You can walk there too and its a great view. There is no shortage of fun stuff to do and great places to go in the hood.

  • I visited Georgia with my daughter The room was exactly what we needed. We loved the neighboorhood and felt like locals - after a couple of days we got used of the sounds of police and firestation nearby . Made us feel safe This sounds and we slept even with the window open so we felt really in New York. Try the Fresh pizza on the next corner!

  • We have a very good time at Georgia's. She is a very very nice person, and it was always a pleasur to talk with her. Her dog Neville is so cute and gentel and I can say that you'll appreciate him for sure.
The room is clean, spacious with enough place to store your clothes for one week. There is air conditioning which is very usefull if you come during summer.
You are close to many metro station which can drive you to Manatthan in 15minutes.
To conclude, if we come back to NY, we'll choose Georgia's room again !

  • Georgias offer is most recommendable!
She was a great host from the time of our arrival until we left two weeks later.
The atmosphere was relaxed and we always felt welcomed to her home. Her dog Neville was very easy to pet with and he was a great and silent part of the apartment. We were able to print out our flight and baseball tickets.
The bed was perfectly comfortable for our hurting legs and provided everything we needed.
There was nothing to complain about!
We had a great stay and to sum up, the best situated and affordable apartment, we could have imagined.

  • Georgia is a very nice person, and her apartment is also cool.
Very well located in Brooklyn, near 2 Metro stations. You are soon in Manhattan, and in much more quiet quartier.
    I recomend it

  • Beign with Georgia was a really good experience. Quite easy going and helpful. We really enjoyed the city and had such a nice trip. The location is quite convenient as it has several connections with different parts of the city, and there are some shops around that are ok. Just remind to check if some of the lines close weekends!

  • Georgia was a wonderful host from beginning to start. We were able to coordinate a time to drop off our bags and pick up our keys. Upon arrival Georgia was very helpful in directing us to the trains and great bars/restaurants.

Throughout our stay we would run into her at the apartment and she was always very cheerful and welcoming. Her dog Neville was a great companion too. He loved to be pet and never made a sound.

The room itself is very accurate to what the pictures show. It was large enough for 2 people and had great natural lighting. The bed was very comfortable and just what we needed!

  • Georgia and Neville welcomed me into their house. It was clean, neat and huge. And the futon is so comfortable! This place is also very conveniently located, with just 5 min of walk from the Hewes Station, J and M lines can take you anywhere. Georgia was great! She was very welcoming and was patient with me when I had problem opening/unlocking the door. I'm definitely coming back during summer to sit on that fire escape! It's too cold now...:)

  • Georgia was very nice, and accurate, so I was happy with her as a host, but I guess I am more of a up town then down town girl.

Georgias apt. is situated in a part of Williamsburg where things are not "happening" yet, and I guess you get what you pay for. Her apt. is not pricy, and the standard thereafter.

But Georgia was well prepared for guests. She had put out clean towels, and a house manual with instructions for internet and netflix etc. That was nice. The room was also clean.

I felt safe staying with Gerogia and her dog Neville that never barks, so if your need is only a nice host and a bed, acess to kitchen and bathroom, this is ok.

About
I LOVE being an airbnb host!!! I have met the coolest people from all over the world doing this and I love having the interesting conversations and cultural exchange. It's like traveling without traveling and I can truly say I have made some great new friends through this. I am an Australian who has lived in the states since 97. I have done TONS of traveling and so I know how important it is to have a friendly face to welcome you and show you the ropes. I was a professional stand up comedian and now I act and work as an intuitive life coach. I give great readings if that is up your alley! I am social and happy to show you where is fun in the hood or leave you to discover it yourself.
