Marsha is really nice, and I've had a wonderful stay here. By the way, very cute room.
It was a réal pleasure to spendthis week in NYC by Marsha home!
a very clean and well-decorated appartment, we felt like home !
Marsha cooked us a nice breakfast on Sunday, and gave us all devices as necessary for a nice stay in NYC.
Our bed was very comfortable, there were enough storage to put our things. The street is calm, so if you need to be sure to sleep well, don't hesitate to rent your room by Marsha !
Situated close to thé metro, it was very convenient for visiting NYC.
you can find excellent soul food restaurants in the corner (Sylvia's, Red Roodster), groceries, etc ...
Marsha is a wonderfull host, it was a real pleasure to meet you !
it was very convenient to rent a room with Marsha ; her confirmation was very quick, and we write and text us several times before our arrival; it was very comforting. she was waiting for our arrival at friday night, even if it was late
I would highly recommand marsha's room for the quality of the room and his host ! We would like to thank you, Marsha, for your warm welcome during our stay !
We had a great time at Marsha's place!! She was awesome!! We feel at home. The house is very clean, perfect location. Walking distance to Central Park and 10 minutes tube to midtown. The room is warm, quiet, comfortable, we had good rest. Harlem is a great neibourghood. I strongly recommend the Red Rooster ( live music every day and Obamatini drink) and Sylvia's for dinner. I would definetly come back!!! Thanks Marsha for everything!!
Marsha's apartment was very well located - close to the subway, and an easy walk to Central Park. Marsha wasn't in the country when I arrived, and her brother was going to be there instead, but due to what I assume was a small mix-up on arrival dates, he wasn't there either. However a neighbour kindly met me to give me the keys, everything was clean and ready for me, and once Chris arrived he was very helpful and welcoming. There wasn't any ac in the bedroom, but there was a fan so I was perfectly comfortable despite the unseasonably warm nights. Overall I was very happy with this apartment and definitely recommend it to anyone else.
Marsha was not home but her brother was a good host, very helpful and friendly. I loved the apartment and would stay again if I was in New York. Everything was as pictured and very easy access to buses and trains. I felt welcome and the bed was comfortable what more could you ask.
Our plane had been delayed for an hour and a half -- we also had no internet so I wasn't able to contact her to tell her so. I was concerned about a bad first impression and that she might be worried or annoyed. However, when we arrived at her apartment (easy to find!) she greeted us with big smiles and hugs. Marsha is very easy going and friendly. She managed to maintain that perfect balance between making sure we were eating properly and leaving us to our own devices. Her entire apartment was very clean and well kept. Our room was awesome. We felt at home immediately. We loved staying in Harlem -- especially that part of Harlem because it wasn't too far from everything but it was also out of the hustle bustle of the crowds. In short, our stay was very enjoyable and if we ever go back to NYC, I hope we can stay at Masha's again.

About the Host, Marsha
I am a trained opera singer who has sung throughout the USA and Europe, specifically Italy. I have also sung in Austria and have travelled to France and Germany. I speak Italian, French, and some German fairly well but my most proficient foreign language is Italian, then French, and my German ist nicht so gut! I am from the Southern part of the USA and I believe in "Southern Hospitality" and love to have guests in my home. So, if you are looking for a warm and inviting space then you have found the right host.
I enjoy foreign films, running stairs in various parks here in NYC, and visiting with friends.
The five things that I cannot live without is a clean bathroom, Cadbury Fruit and Nut chocolate bar, (I love the rum and nut, and coconut Ritter Sort), great bath products, high quality skin cream, and a breeze on a hot day in NYC.
I am from a professional family: my Mom is a nurse and my Dad is an engineer. I have two sisters one of whom works in the pharmaceutical industry, and the other who is an attorney. I went back to school and obtained a professional certificate in Orthopedic Extremities and Biologics with a minor in the Spine Specialty and was also Valedictorian of my class. When not singing, I run a medical device and medical matketing business.
My style of hosting is to make sure that my guest(s) are very comfortable and have everything that they need.
My life motto is "Everything and everyone is a part of my good and life supports my happiness and abundant success!" This can only be true if I am supportive of the good and happiness of others.....
