About this listing
Large private room with twin bed for one person. High ceilings, decorative fireplace in a large old apartment that has not been renovated.. Shared bathroom down a long hallway. A small half bath is close to the room. Wireless internet.
Windows face the street which is one-way near the park so that there is not much traffic considering that we are in the heart of the city.
The location is on a hill that leads to Lafayette Park
Pacific Heights is a great neighborhood. Buses are one and two blocks away. Many people walk everywhere. The supermarket, Whole Foods, is three blocks away. The park is less than half a block's walk and bustling Fillmore St is a five-block stroll. Polk St. is three blocks away, so there is a huge variety of restaurants closeby. It's a great neighborhood to explore the architectural landmarks as well a central starting point for exploring the rest of the city.
The room has wireless internet. There are coin-operated laundry facilities in the building.
No smoking in the apartment and no smoking on the premises. Laundry (in basement) to be used only between 8AM and 10PM
Jay was extremely welcoming and helpful during the booking process! The room/house was very clean and nice. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay with her again in the future! Thanks Jay!
Jay was very kind, accommodating, and friendly. She worked with my schedule and was able to extend my stay when I needed. I'd definitely recommend her place to anyone visiting SF! Thanks!!
Great time in San Fran. Thank you for the wonderful room, travel tips and kindness.
Jay said that once you use Airbnb you never travel any other way, and she is spot on. My experience at Jay's was great, she was available and communicative. The apartment is located in a very convenient area, I was able to go everywhere I wanted by public transportation. The park up the street has beautiful views and Whole Foods was right around the corner. My room was spacious, clean, well furnished and lit. I wish my door could be closed all the way, the sliding door was heavy but it did not sealed the room. I was pleased however, that I got to meet and even hang out with other guests. I'd definitely stay at Jay's again, and would recommend it to my friends.
Jay was very easy to communicate with both leading up to and during my stay. My flight got in late but she was completely fine with waiting up a little later. It was nice not to feel like I had to rush over from the airport to start off my trip.
The room was beautiful and very peaceful. It was a little cold in late December when I visited but the provided space heater set to low did the trick. The bed was very comfortable and although the person in the room next door kept coughing I was able to get a good nights rest. The shared 1.5 baths never seemed to be occupied during my three days here.
The location is great and was centrally located to several of the things I wanted to see. Typically a 15-30min drive in the morning got me where I wanted to go. Also, I stayed during a Friday, Saturday, Sunday and was able to get a parking spot right in front each night for free though there were some restrictions during the day. I would recommend staying here to my friends and family. Thanks Jay!
Just fantastic. A great location atop San Fran, beuatiful old house, with local shops (inc. wholefoods) and a pleasant cycle downhill to the Moscone center. Cannot reccomend enough for a stay in SF.
Bonne chambre d'hôte au cœur de San Francisco. Très bon accueil, discret.
