The neighborhood is nice and quiet as well as very tolerant. There are Historical and National museums 5 minutes by foot as well as popular shopping malls. Old Town Bascarsija is 15 minutes walk from our place. Down the street is a beautiful boulevard next to the river Miljacka. Public transport is down the street - trolleybus, tram and bus as well as a taxi stand. And for everything else that you need please don't hesitate to ask.
Shared appartment, with private parking. It was difficult to find for me while driving, but the brother of Selma was so kind to find me somewhere in Sarajevo and drove in front of me after contacting. Very quick reply.
Appartment is clean, everything is perfect. Walking to city centre (pub area) I think about 20 minutes, but on your way there, you pass other pubs where you can have a short pit stop. Ideal location for traveling with car or tram. Selma's brother is very friendly. I did not met Selma's father, in fact, it feeled like I had the appartment for myself.
I had a really nice stay. Sarajevo is a wonderful city, and Selmas place is within walking distance of anything of interrest in the city.
I had everything I needed, and my biggest problem was communicating with the taxidrivers.
I never met Selma, but communication was good, and I got good directions to find the place. Her father was very nice, we didn't talk much, but he gave me directions and a few good bits of advice, and called for a taxi at check-out.
A nice place to stay, for a nice price.
We were on the floor two nights Selma, met his father which porto fine with us and was very sympathetic. Regarding the room were very comfortable and very beautiful. I recommend this room 100%.
Selma is a sweetheart, and we appreciate our spend in Sarajevo in her house.
The place is well locate, near to the old town, and the bed was just fabulous (very comfy, absence of noises).
I recommend this b&b for everyone who wants to enjoy the great city of Sarajevo !

Although things started out well, they quickly soured. There is a washer in the bathroom of this shared apartment. The rules of the apartment, handed to us upon check-in, did not mention this washer. We used the washer to do a load of laundry. When we brought the laundry out to dry, Selma's father demanded that we pay three Euro for this load. Later that evening, he knocked on our door to ask about check out. During this interaction, he again asked us for three Euro. We stated that the rules are silent on the washer, and that the website suggests that the apartment does not contain one rather than that you may not use the washer in the bathroom. While we agreed to pay the aforementioned three Euro, Selma's father said it was not about the money but that we should have asked first. When we asked if he would call us a cab, he said that it wasn't in the rules, but that he would. We did not interact with Selma at all during this exchange. In the afternoon after we checked out of the apartment, we received a review from Selma. The review stated that we were drunk in our interaction with her father, which was not the case. This review also stated that, because Selma and her father are not American, we insulted their intelligence by suggesting that they did not understand the meaning of washer. We never suggested this; we merely suggested that their profile implied that they didn't have a washer and not that we could not use the one there. All in all, it was an unpleasant experience. I would not recommend staying with them.
Selma is a lovely & helpful host, as is her dad. The room is spacious, clean and tidy. It was a little further from the old town centre than we had thought but definitely still walking distance. Good value for money :-)
Wonderful room, really a whole apartment wing to oneself. Clean, tidy, about a 10-15minute walk to the city center. Didn't get to meet Selma but her father was so nice and so helpful. Great communications for directions & check-in, just all around a wonderful stay. Great people. I miss Sarajevo already.
Very plaisant stay at selma's well-located-appartment. Her father was also very helpfull . Thank you !
Séjour très agréable dans l'appartement (bien situé) de Selma. Son père a aussi été d'une aide très utile. Merci !
I must say that I really enjoyed my stay with Selma and her father. They are both very friendly, helpful and generous. The place is centrally located with a tram station just across the bridge & the old town easily within walking distance. The room is comfortable, big and clean. I really recommend Selma's place without hesitation.
