The cabin is unique for the area and offers a great location for both Heathrow and Central London. Large windows lets the light stream in while the warm air heater keeps the place warm. The decked area is great in summer to sit and watch planes.
Welcome,. This describes the log cabin at the end of my garden. It is a separate dwelling from the main house with a private entrance. It is ideal for short stays. It is suitable for tidy, non-smoking guests. Families are welcome.
It sleeps up to 4 guests. There is one double bed and one double fouton. It gets a lot of natural light. The kitchen has an induction hob, washing machine. microwave, fridge and other kitchen items. It is perfect for a self-catering stay. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle.

Don't forget to bring a power adapter from your country plug to the UK 3 pin plug.
Check-in anytime after 9am (when I am awake) but before 10pm. If you are arriving outside these hours please contact me. This will depend on the check-out of any previous guest.
Check-out is flexible but if I have back-to-back bookings then I may ask for an earlier check-out depending on when the next guest is arriving and me also needing to wash linen and clean the place.
Located in West London close to Heathrow. Close (10mins walk) to the Underground for travel into central London. Safe area and walking on main, well-lit streets to and from the metro and local restaurents
There is a Marks and Spencer's supermarket at the end of the road where you can buy tasty food. There are also a McDonald's 2mins away and lots of restaurants (pizza, Indian) 5 minutes away, as well as banks and bus stops.
About your host:
I am male and single. I am of Indian origin but born in the UK. I enjoy going out, movies, travelling, reading and meeting new people.
- Heathrow Airport is 2 train stops away
- It takes about 45 minutes by train to Leicester Square
- Great location for A30 and M4
- 10 minutes walk to Hounslow West train station
NOTE: The cabin is in close proximity to the airport and the planes do fly overhead on occasion with the noise that results from that.
The guests will have access to all the amenites stated as it is all self-contained within the cabin.
The cabin has it's own entrance so you can come and go at any time. It is very private. I am available in the main house if you have any queries or need any help. I generally leave you alone to enjoy your trip without worrying about the host.
Close by are restaurents. You must try some of the asian cusine on the doorstep. London is a must see if only for a few hrs on a layover. If you like planes then you will be in your element.
The location is perfect for travellers to London or as a base for day trips as the public transport is accessible and it is close to the major road networks. Walking to the underground is on well-lit streets and very safe. Parking is free on-road and right outside the place. From the airport access can be by taxi, bus or underground and they are resonable in terms of cost and duration. If needed I can help with airport pick-up.
I am mostly on hand to help with with information on travel, London sights, etc. I would be happy to help in any way I can.
Mandeep was a great host! My stay there was brief and was chosen due to proximity to LHR. I arrived late at night in the rain so the entry behind the house was a bit confusing. Cabin was as described and great accommodations, especially good value!!! Internet did not work for me which was a bit frustrating, but all in all highly recommended.
Great place to Stay. Close to airport.
Mandeep was a great host.
Mandeep was kind and approachable, and made me very welcome. For reasons related to my trip to the UK, and that had absolutely nothing to do with him or the accommodation, I ended up not sleeping in the cabin, but I did stay there for a few hours. It was clean, tidy, and quite comfortable, and a very welcome respite after an overnight transatlantic flight. I was able to shower, rest, and then had to go on my way. I would definitely book it again when coming through Heathrow
The Log Cabin's promimity to Heathrow Airport was a definate plus (but also one of its biggest minuses as aircraft on their final approach would be directly overhead from around 04:30 each morning). The Cabin is comfortble, a little compact for 3 adults but bearable. Tranpsortation into central is nearby and straightforward
Everything was great! The host was polite and helpful. The place is perfect for a couple of people. Everything worked and was clean. You could even control the temperature which was really nice considering the cold. The kitchen had everything I needed in it so I didn't have to eat out and it was super close to the underground stop. I took a taxi just bc I had so much luggage but it was only six pounds. There's plenty of food and stuff around and I slept like a baby bc it was a super quiet neighborhood. A bit out from central London but easy to get there in 30 minutes or so.
great host and stay was very comfortable and enjoyable, would use again, thank you
I stayed at Mandeep's log cabin for a week. I enjoyed my time there, it had all the amenities and comfort I needed. It was like having your own apartment all to yourself. The cabin was very clean and the heating was good. Mandeep was a great host, he was very nice and personable. I would definitely stay there again.
Mandeep's log cabin was a fun experience , very clean and orderly. I was there for a brief overnight.. It is very convenient to Heathrow and
not too far from the underground.
Staying with Mandeep was simple, convenient and new. The only challenge I had was with the internet which was really slow as I had a conference call via web x. In any case. Mandeep was very welcoming and accommodating. The cabin was kinda quarky to get to behind the house. But inside was perfect. Warm, welcoming, simple and clean. I would highly recommend visiting Mandeep if your looking for something no too close to the city, but convenient for the tube as well as to the airport and near some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Enjoy your travels!
Our stay at the Log Cabin was warm and comfortable. The cabin is quiet small and cosy. It is located at the back of the owners house and you have in and out of the roller door which can be a bit of a pain. Good value for money being 40 minutes from Piccadilly Circus on the tube.
