Families are welcome.

Check-in anytime after 9am (when I am awake) but before 10pm. If you are arriving outside these hours please tell me before booking. It will also depend on the check-out of any previous guest. Please be flexible and understanding.
Check-out is flexible but if I have back-to-back bookings then I may ask for an earlier check-out depending on when the next guest is arriving and me also needing to wash linen and clean the place.
Located in West London close to Heathrow. Close (10mins walk) to the Underground for travel into central London. Safe area and walking on main, well-lit streets to and from the metro and local restaurents
There is a Marks and Spencer's supermarket at the end of the road where you can buy tasty food. There are also a McDonald's 2mins away and lots of restaurants (pizza, Indian) 5 minutes away, as well as banks and bus stops.
About your host:
I am male and single. I am of Indian origin but born in the UK. I enjoy going out, movies, travelling, reading and meeting new people.
- Heathrow Airport is 2 train stops away
- It takes about 45 minutes by train to Leicester Square
- Great location for A30 and M4
- 10 minutes walk to Hounslow West train station
NOTE: The cabin is in close proximity to the airport and the planes do fly overhead on occasion with the noise that results from that.
The guests will have access to all the amenites stated as it is all self-contained within the cabin. They will have their own keys for the cabin and main entrance. There is no restriction on coming and going as it has its own totally private entrance.
Interaction with Guests
The cabin has it's own entrance so you can come and go at any time. It is very private. I am available in the main house if you have any queries or need any help. I generally leave you alone to enjoy your trip without worrying about the host I will be available if needed.
Close by are restaurents. You must try some of the asian cusine on the doorstep. London is a must see if only for a few hrs on a layover. If you like planes then you will be in your element.
The location is perfect for travellers to central London or as a base for day trips as the public transport is accessible and it is close to the major road networks. Walking to the underground is on well-lit streets and very safe. Parking is free on-road and right outside the place. From the airport access can be by taxi, bus or underground and they are reasonable in terms of cost and duration. If needed I can help with airport pick-up.
Other Things to Note
I am mostly on hand to help with with information on travel, London sights, etc. I would be happy to help in any way I can.
If you make an enquiry or a booking between midnight and 8am I will probably be asleep so will respond when I wake up.
As it has wood floors I request that shoes are removed by the door. I don't charge a cleaning fee so I request that you look after the place and leave it as clean and tidy as you can to help me get it ready for the next guest.
There is no smoking in the cabin as it is made of wood.
There is also a manual in the cabin which I recommend you read and take note.
The log cabin was so cute! It's perfect for anyone who loves tiny houses. It was clean, had everything we needed, and was in a wonderful neighborhood. Mandeep was a very friendly host, he was great at communicating and took care of all our needs. Check in instructions were very clear and directions were too. It is the ideal place for anyone visiting London from Heathrow. It's very simple to get to the heart of the city, and we loved not having to get up very early to go to the airport!
This location was convenient for a no-frills, single-night stay near Heathrow. Mandeep was very helpful (directed us to a good restaurant) and quick to respond to queries.
For the starters , right after the first use my partner came to know that the toilet was leaking and it stank extremly bad. I straight away informed Mandeep but he reacted really calm about it, as if he knew about the leakage already and yet he choose not to work on it. Well because I paid for a night I wrapped towels around it. Secondly I thought I should open the toilet window due to the bad smell, as I opened the window , it fell on the other side. I informed him and again he was casual about it. I am pregnant and for me to breath in that smell is not very healthy and due to morning sickness I had to use the toilet a lot. The cupboard door was also broken. We couldn't lock the main door from outside and as from a security perspective its not a place to stay. The following day I asked him to sort out the things which are not correct with the property so we could extend out stay till new years but as he didn't work on it, I decided to leave. On the check out, he was so annoying and kept on coming back and forth for us to evacuate qucikly. My partner had an accident and his back was really badly injured and due to my pregnancy I couldn't pack the luggage all myself therefore it took us time to leave the property but he carried on getting very rude and aggressive about it. It was a really bad experience, we wanted to get away for Christmas to enjoy our time and to leave the stress behind but staying at his property added more to our lives. I would recommend people to think twice before arriving at his property, and even after all this you do choose his property make sure the first thing u do is check every thing in the property before putting your luggage down at his presence.
The garage gate would not lock from inside and the walk from the garden to the cabin is very dangerous at night because there is no light and the grass was very slippery. At one point nearly fell on m the stones.
For starters none of the other guests complained about a broken toilet so it must have been something you did. In the 2 yrs of offering the cabin this guest is the only one that managed to lift the window off the hinge. It must of been opned with some force. Also the wardrobe door was on the hinges before it was rented so again so misuse must have forced it off the henges. I have fixed both the bathroom window and the wardrobe door which I was not informed of while it was rented. The cabin manual described how to lock the door and the key is provided to the guests. I actually did fix what i was told and the guest left because I requested them to. Not because of the condition of the flat. With regards to teh check-out I extended tehir check-out time by 1 hr so I could clean it for the next guest. Even then they took almost 1 hr more. I am not surprised her partner had an accident as I saw him driving fast an erractic near the house. They also never closed/locked the garage door. Again the cabin manual described how to close and lock the garage door for security. It was their first experience of airbnb and I think they thought it was a hotel rather than someone offering a place in their house. For prospective guests reading this review I would suggest they read other reviews for an honest opinion of the accommodation.
Mandeep was flexible with the time I could pick up the keys/check-in. I really appreciated this. The cabin was just as the photos show; there were no surprises. It was clean, and had clear instructions for entry, heating for the cabin and check-out. I only needed the cabin for 1 night, and it met my needs. Mandeep communicated quickly with me, very easy to work with, and gave a great recommendation for dinner. The cabin's location was within easy walking distance to restaurants, and a short drive to the Heathrow Airport. The cabin was in the back of the owner's property, so you had plenty of privacy; it was quiet. I have no complaints and would recommend this cabin.
As mentioned by other reviews. If you are looking for a clean/affordable place nearby Heathrow's airport, this is the place. Mandeep is a nice guy who helped right away (asked for extra towel and was there in a few minutes).
The only "negative" comments might be
a) bad WiFi signal: I couldn't connect at all, while my wife had a poor signal
b) there was no soap, but we really didn't ask Mandeep since we brought some with us from the nearby convenient store when we went out.
The host made us feel very welcome. It was very near the airport, a very convenient stay. The cabin was very homely.
Overall, my wife and I had a very good time staying at Mandeep's. We did have a communication problem as far as getting into the cabin though. Just make sure that you have the directions on how to enter the location before you arrive. The shower was great, fluffy bed, and a huge selections of DVDs to watch after a long day of exploring the city. If you're flying into or out of Heathrow, this is a phenomenal option for proximity and cost.
