Interaction with guests
I love to visit with the guests. I've written a little booklet to point you in many directions to follow your passions and get the best out of your visit to our fair city, beaches and neighborhoods. I do work and am out a few hours per day. I'm always available to take care of your needs and make sure your stay is a great experience. I'm 4th generation so know my town well. I like to play games such as scrabble or join you for a movie if you are up for it. For a small fee, I provide tours of downtown in a casual way. A well behaved dog is welcome. My brother David is at home to serve you.
Riverland Terrace is the best neighborhood in Charleston. It was settled in the early 1900's and is an eclectic mix of modest and extravagant. it boasts some of the largest and oldest grand Live Oaks in the Chas. area. Lovely to bike or ride. I love how it is surrounded on 3 sides by water. And walking distance to restaurants and shops. ALL ONLY 8-10 MIN. TO DOWNTOWN CHAS. and 15-20 min to the beach. Friendly and safe. Bird Sanctuary in my back yard. Fishing and crabbing in my backyard as well. But the big draw is the amazing downtown area. Charleston is ranked #1 destination in the world by Travel and Leisure mag. and #1 by Conde Nash magazine at the best destination in the country 4 years in a row!
Most people rent cars. I highly recommend it. It is not possible to walk to the historic district due to bridges. Many folks guests use Uber or the green taxi or take bus. Parking is pretty easy and abundant in Chas. Some areas are free, some metered, others have parking garages. There is a bus service a few times per day. Some people have ridden bikes to downtown. There are bridges to cross for that and narrow streets downtown. I will do airport pick up for $30 each way.

I'm a fifth generation Charlestonian, a real estate agent, a home renovator, investor and grateful Airbnb host. I love animals (am known as the neighborhood dog whisperer) and welcome them to visit with you. Rather be in nature than anywhere and am blessed with a stunning view and yard. I enjoy great conversations, and lots of laughter. In fact, I am a Certified Laughing Yoga instructor. I love to be active, swimming in the ocean, going to dancersize, yoga, walks around the historic district of Charleston to admire the gardens and architecture of the old homes. Good food, a nice glass of wine, while watching a stunning sunset is the perfect end to the day. I like all kinds of music, attend concerts every chance I get. I'm an avid reader, fiction but historical novels too. I've traveled throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, Hawaii and own a home in Costa Rica on the Pacific Coast. Recently went to Europe and am anxious to go back. Love to have visitors to show them our beautiful sights. I strive to make your visit perfect in your own special way and to be of service in all my endeavors. Would love to do Yoga with you, join you for dinner, give you a tour of downtown, help you find your way around out lovely city.
