Super sexy Jacuzzi bath with crystal chandelier on a dimmer...this Suite is made for celebrating love...hand-held shower.
We had a wonderful time at Kat's. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. It feels like a luxury hotel- only better. The view was lovely and it was very quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of high quality food. Everything had been thought through. We will be back.
Our stay made most luxury resorts pale in comparison. During our stay we felt we were staying in a wing of a rich friends home. Not just any friend but a friend that enjoys nature, has style, AND enjoys the finer things in life. When we booked the trip our host contacted us to ask if we had any dietary restrictions and whether we prefer red or white wine our first evening. Upon arrival we received a personal tour and then were given our privacy the enjoy our time. Not only did we find the wine but a fairly well stocked pantry as well.
This was the first overnight trip ALONE with my girlfriend. The room was more than the photos could capture. The light and the feel of the the room instantly made you feel at ease. Every detail was thoughtful created. We enjoy every moment of our stay. We already want to return.
Your comments to us are so heartwarming and make us so happy to have serve you well...
There is a "cheat sheet" for both suites however I had revised it to include the art gallery in each suite...and the printer decided not to talk to my computer. So you were without, but rest assured that it exists and will back on the desk as soon as the techie bit is resolved. Your next visit is 20% off two successive nights. And it was our pleasure to host you both!
For years, I have searched for a place to escape from the emotional, mental, and physical toxins that cloud my day-to-day environment. Having failed repeatedly, I thought what I wanted wouldn’t exist until I built it myself… until I found Adytum.
Kat and Donn have built a beautiful oasis in one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen, and they maintain it with the attention to detail that comes from an unblemished idealism around good health. Everything about this place is designed to be the very best, without pretentiousness or any of that corporate veneer of faux-“healthy” that had left me feeling so jaded.
Their tap water was some of the best I’ve ever tasted, because it’s been put through several levels of purification that most people have never even heard of. When I ran a bath (in the jumbo multi-person tub that still filled quickly due to the incredible water pressure…), I was dunking myself in water more pure than I usually have the privilege of drinking.
There wasn’t just “access” to a sauna… the far-infrared sauna was *in our suite* and we were encouraged to use it as much as we wanted. No overpriced, chemical-laden hotel restaurant pretending to be healthy… instead, an incredibly well-stocked kitchenette and dining room, giving us the freedom to eat well on our own schedule, without hassle. And with only short notice of my allergies, Kat was not only able to add several things that made my stay easier, but every single thing in that fridge was up to my heavily-researched standards. I laughed with her about the fact that we even buy some of the same brands! How wonderful to be able to vacation without needing to pack in every single thing I need to stay healthy!
Beyond that, the suite and grounds were a thing of beauty that I’ve rarely encountered…. The most luxurious sheets I’ve ever slept on, exquisite views of the lake, lush greenery, an incredible sunset that we viewed from their salt-water hot tub (which they had heated and ready in February…! ). The grounds felt thoroughly remote, and we enjoyed wandering around and simply experiencing the beauty of it all. Kat graciously gave us a tour of the rest of the property, which further reflected their commitment to promoting not just good health but the enjoyment of it. I was convinced they must have had the best interior designer in the world, until Kat told me that all the lovely art and furnishings came from their extensive travels! There were even stacks of a variety of books, movies, and magazines, all artfully tucked into the sweetest little chests and drawers, or displayed in the most picturesque way. It felt like living in a magazine.
Communication was consistently top-notch and our hosts were attentive without being intrusive, and flexible with our late arrival. Bottom line: I felt uncommonly safe, spoiled, and at home with my hosts and in the space, and cannot wait to return.
A lovely experience! We stayed for our 5th anniversary and couldn't have been happier with our choice. Adytum is truly an oasis. The room is beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, the view is beautiful! The room was very well stocked, comfortable and private. Kat is a warm, engaging host. We would highly recommend a stay at Adytum!
The host is very responsive and goes out of her way to communicate with guests, setting up the location for the guests arrival. The room has a wonderful view of the lake during the day, and the stars during the night. The interior was well decorated and very tastefully pit together.. Enough to make me want to upgrade my own home. An absolutely beautiful stay in a beautiful location with the friendliest of dogs as friends. I don't want to talk about the price, but its an absolute bargain for the experience.
Ken, we are so delighted you and your guest were so pleased with all the loving care we've put into creating a transformational experience at Adytum Sanctuary. And it was my pleasure to mail your left-behind tablet back. We look forward to seeing you again...the dog pack as well!
