If you're interested in experiencing the cutting edge of London's nightlife, Shoreditch (the cool and most happening area of London) is less than 10 mins. away by foot. .
Tate Modern is a pleasant 15 mins walk away through St. Paul's gardens and over the wobbly bridge. London's White Cube Gallery is close and The Barbican Centre (5 mins walk) features 3 cinemas, a large art gallery and theatres and dance spaces where the best contemporary dance and music are staged.
Aside from the West End there is also Islington 15 mins walk away which has a lovely high street and lots of independent boutiques, shops and antique shops. Howard's apartment was very nice and comfortable. It is beautiful and very clean. It was much more convenient and enjoyable than staying in a hotel. Howard was a great host and answered emails very quickly.
Howard was great as a host thoughtful in leaving treats in the fridge and beverages on the bench. The apartment is small but interestingly quirky and very clean. The entrance to the level the flat should make most people smile.
I am very happy staying in howard's apartment so this was my second time.
The location is fantastic being close to lots of cool bars and restaurants as well as Shoreditch which has fantastic shops for Menswear, There really is no need to go into the centre.
I would definately stay here again!
The flat we rented from Howard is beautiful, everything works very well, and it has underfloor heating- amazing! Howard is the nicest man, he was very easy going, and even agreed last minute to extend our lease for 1 week.

I would thoroughly recommend staying here as the apartment itself has been beautifully furnished throughout and the location is fantastic, really in the heart of London with wonderful bars and restaurants in the close-by vicinity.
Before arriving at the apartment, you walk past a pretty oasis of flowers in the corridors - a lovely welcome and Howard was the perfect host ensuring that I had everything that I needed for a great stay))
