Salzburg City centre for 1 - 6 (+2) persons
A recently refurbished apartment on the first floor of a townhouse. Wonderful central location in the Andräviertel (near the Mirabell Gardens). Only a few steps away from all of Salzburg’s sights and attractions; a convenient distance from the railway station with connections to the airport, exhibition centre, etc. The apartment has its own general parking (limited). The Salzburg Schrannen Market, the Linzer Gasse pedestrian shopping area, Mozart’s Residence, the Mozarteum University, the Mirabell Palace and Gardens, as well as the Kapuzinerberg are all located nearby.
With its boulevards, shops, bars and turn of the century townhouses, the Andräviertel is Salzburg’s classic, central residential area. You can’t get much closer to the city centre. As a result, there is a wide selection of shopping, leisure activities and cultural offerings.
Tip: Every Thursday, residents and tourists alike come together at the Schrannen Market, a colourful farmer’s market in front of St Andrew’s Church. The market operates year-round and offers a great variety of fresh foods and products.
This apartment is easily reached by public transport and, with many bus connections to the railway station and airport, you will have no trouble getting around in Salzburg.
The apartment has a parking space available for guests arriving by car.
The approximately 85m² apartment ideally sleeps up to 6 people but can sleep up to 8 if needed (living room couch and/or guest beds). Travel cot and high chair available.

Thank you Terese for meeting us when we arrived. The apartment was exactly as described and met our expectations completely...the little shop on the corner made wonderful coffee for us each morning and the repair shop fixed my husbands parka overnight...a very convenient spot...thank you
The apartment was exactly as described- very clean and comfortable. The layout was also very good for two couples sharing. The location was just a short walk into town, and very near one of our favorite Salzburg cafés, Fingerlos.
The hosts were very quick to respond and were very helpful in providing a cot and a high chair for our little one.
My only regret is not having used the beautiful spa like bathtub! (No time) The shower was great anyway!
Was away from the tourist centre so quiet yet everything accessible within 15 mins walk. The apartment was perfectly equipped for self-catering. While it was tricky to locate, once there, fantastic. We totally loved the Salzburg atmosphere.. Absolute value for money. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed this apartment in Salzberg. It was comfortable, well appointed (we cooked most nights at the apartment) and it was in a great location away from the tourist areas. It was very useful being near the station and bus depot as we went on a few day trips into the Alps. We would have no hesitation in recommending this great value apartment.
Nice modern, comfortable apartment in a good location in walking distance to old town. A bit too small for 6 adults. 4 adults would be comfortable. We had problems with the wifi but this may have been because a number of us were trying to use it. Extra people are charged at 15 euro not 13 as quoted on the airbnb page. Also the 2 extra beds we requested and paid for were not made up so we had to ask for sheets and make them up ourselves. Apart from these things we had an enjoyable stay.
Once you get past the drab apartment building with its dark, dingy entrance way, you're inside a rather spacious (compared to a hotel room) apartment that hosts Marion and Walter have furnished with every modern convenience. It's clean as well. In short, five rooms for the price of an average hotel room. At first we thought the walk to old Salzburg was a bit long, but we quickly got used to it.We were the envy of friends who stayed in quaint, cramped "historic" hotels.
The good and the bad of it: The apartment is about half an hour waking distance from downtown. But saying that it was a very nice apartment in an ok neighborhood. The owner were MIA. Needed another fan and let a message with no reply. Parking is free.
Overall a good experience in an amazing town
We arrived into Salzburg very late having had train and traffic issues but the person meeting us was very patient and understanding. The apartment was even bigger than I expected! The bathroom was very large with a separate shower and larger soaker tub. There was an unexpected bonus of having a balcony with a table and chairs. The apartment was very clean. The location of the apartment was good but not as close to the Old Town as I had expected but very close to the Train station. However, since it was in a more residential area it was nice and quiet at night.
This was a great apartment for visiting and enjoying Salzburg; clean, convenient, well-furnished, it really felt like home. The entire process was smooth from beginning to end and everyone was very helpful.
This apartment is a really great place to stay. It is recently renovated with all the comforts of a modern apartment. It is located close to the main train station and only a short 5 minute walk to the town centre. The apartment is very spacious and suitable for a couple or a family. The kitchen has all the utensils you need to support your cooking needs. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic with a large bath and funky shower. The communication was smooth and easy. You can not spend too much time in this great part of the world.
