The Space

This two-storey beach house consists of two bedrooms: on the ground, one with queen size bed and the other one with two single beds, as well as a bathroom with shower. The upper floor has a spacious, luminous living room with attached fully equipped kitchen, and a WC. There are two balconies, a ground floor veranda, a large patio and lots of garden space.
It's style is a typical beach house of Halkidiki. It's part of a large private complex of semi-detached houses. There is an electronic bar that gives access only to residents and leads to the parking place 15metres from the house. It's a summer residential area and an amazing crystal water beach is at 200 metres away.
The area is 3km from Ierissos town, that offers lots of restaurants, bars, cafeterias, shops, large supermarkets (Masoutis & Lidl), ATMs, pharmacy etc.

The Neighborhood

The wider area of Ierissos is an ideal family destination, avoiding the busy and congested beaches of the first two legs of Halkidiki. It offers lots of facilities as a town and the small gulf where the house is offers privacy, security and plenty of beach area for a whole family. Ouranoupoli, being the access town to Mount Athos is only 15km away so families may spend time here while men visit the unique landscapes and monasteries of the holy mountain.
"Ierissos (Greek: Ιερισσός) or Acanthus (Ancient Greek: Ἄκανθος) was an ancient Greek city on the Athos peninsula. It was located on the north-east side of Akti, on the most eastern peninsula of Chalcidice. Strabo and Ptolemy erroneously place Acanthus on the Singitic gulf, but there can be no doubt that the town was on the Strymonic gulf, as is stated by (website hidden) and other authorities: the error may have perhaps arisen from the territory of Acanthus having stretched as far as the Singitic gulf. The name of the ancient city (derived from the acanthus bush) is due to the thorny nature of the area or to the thorny nature of the town's foundation." source: wikipedia.

  • We stayed over at this top-floor apartment for two nights with 6 people. It was nice. Nikolas' sister Tina took good care of us.

We came by car from the airport and parking is not easy in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. However, at a 10 minutes walking distance, there is plenty of parking space, for free.

Thessaloniki (email hidden). It reminded me of Cairo, in a good sense.

Two out of three rooms have airco. Quite OK.

  • An excellent apartment, perfect location in every way. The two bedrooms are spacious and lots of extras. The apartment is well furnished. The internet works well and the place feels very secure. The local area is bustling and ideally located for everything. Only negative was communication with Nicholas was haphazard, but it all worked out fine. I'd stay here again.

  • Nikolas and his sister Ina were great hosts, very communicative and positive.
They provided us with a baby cod fre of service and even bought for us a baby eating chair so that was a nice touch.
The house was great, clean, amazing location, quiet and filled with all the amenities necessary.
    Would recommend it to anyone.

  • I travelled for the first time to Greece for a wedding together with my family and stopped for 2 days in Thessaloniki.
I am a person who likes small details and the simple thinks in life, so I liked very much how Nikolas decorated the apartment. Especially the folded hand towels. Or the fact that there are English books in the apartment. This makes the stay cosier. We didn't have the chance to meet Nikolas in person, but his sister made us feel as home and gave us also a lot of recommendations what to see and what to do in the town. Really sweet of her. A supermarket is right across the street and a small traditional pastry shop down stairs and a bigger one - reaaally tasty - at the cross road with the agia sofia church. Thanks, Nikolas and Tina!

  • Loistava majoitus!
    Suosittelen!

  • We had a great stay at Nikolas' apartment. We arrived and checked in on Friday afternoon and the guys were very eager to help us and tell us about the city. However, as we were there with locals, we didn't really need it. The flat is very nice, sunny and very clean. Location is also excellent as it is right in the centre of the city but still in a very quiet street. So, overall a great experience and a great stay in wonderful Thessaloniki.

  • Stayed for 2 nights (6 people). Liked both apartment & location. Nikolas and his sister were welcoming and helpful. A small problem, esp. with little kids, were the loose hanging sockets in the living room.

About
Being an engineer of urban planning and regional development, as well as a graduate of real estate management & economics, I was indeed interested in interfering with the property market. However, my main aim is to make guests feel like home and this is the reason I try to provide a friendly approach with custom tips for every single location of my properties. Customer service and satisfaction is the most crucial element imo, particularly when it's vacation time. I love adopting practices and services I experienced and enjoyed, while travelling around the world. Enjoy your stay in Thessaloniki, Mykonos or Chalkidiki and as slogan mentioned from the Greek Tourism Organisation, try to "live your myth in Greece!" Cheers, Nikolas
