  • We could have nice and unforgettable stayed by Valerie/Theo’s apartment.
Very nice location, can get everywhere by subway and There is many shops and a supermarket, café, bar. Waking to Alexandre Dumas station make me feel like living here in Paris.
I could think sometime no need to go far away…. Also, there is a local cheerful, attractive market on Saturday, You can buy fresh sea food, cheese and some other French products.
Yes, definitely their apartment gave us the nice cozy stay experience. We made dinner and every morning have breakfast at home with delicious bread bought from near apartment.
The room is simply cozy and feeling Paris.
Valerie and Theo always take care for us. I really appreciate and recommend to everyone who want to stay like a living in Paris.

  • This apartment is clean, bright and located in the perfect neighbourhood. Easy to access all the key Paris sights by metro. The neighbourhood has everything you need with shops, restaurants, banks, grocery stores, etc. The bakery across the street was our favourite, we visited it several times a day. The people in the neighbourhood were also very friendly and patient with our attempts to speak french. Valerie and Theo were great hosts. I fully recommend this place.

  • We stayed at Valérie and Theo’s apartment for 5 days in mid January.

The apartment was easy to find from the Metro stop down the street.

Valérie met us; handed over the keys and all the information we needed and even suggested a few good places to eat in the neighbourhood.

We arrived on a Saturday in time to do some shopping at the farmers market just as you exit the metro which I highly recommend. We bought some great cheese, fresh eggs and plenty of vegetables. The apartment is clean, functional and modern with plenty of natural light. We loved it and my partner kept saying that the place had good “energy”. It looks onto rue Ligner, a quaint little street with no cars. We found everything we needed in the apartment to make small meals and really appreciated having a washing machine as we did need to do a little bit of laundry before we left.

The neighbourhood is great. You will find everything you need within a two minute walk – grocery store, pharmacy, bakeries, wine shop, flower shop, pizzeria, and the list goes on. If you are thinking of booking, I highly recommend that you simply do it, if the place is available, you will not regret it. We would definitely stay there again.

  • Valerie's apartment was just as she described. It was absolutely delightful! Not far at all from the Metro, and on a very quiet little street. We would definitely stay here again! The only thing I might say is if you're a extra large person, getting in and out of the shower might be tough, if not impossible. As with most showers in France, there is no door, and the wall only allows an average amount of room for entry. But truly, this place is wonderful! Valerie made it very easy to get keys, and occupancy. Would definitely reccommend!

  • Four adults were staying in Valerie's flat for four nights. There was quite enough space for all of us.Valerie was waiting for us patiently despite that we were 40 min late as we got lost in the underground. She waited for us with a bottle of delicious wine. The flat was great,in a nice and quiet street. We had everything we needed to make a cup of tea or coffee or to warm le crepes (from a shop nearby). It is newly decorated and clean. I loved the neighbourhood, the beautiful little street, windowsills with plants and the huge old wooden front door. On the way home from Metro (which takes only a few minutes) you walk by a few good bakeries, small supermarkets and a few local restaurants and cafes. Valerie was very nice and showed us a few good places to eat, unfortunately the french one was reserved for Saturday night , but then we tried the Moroccan one, with great hosts there, who tried their best to explain/ translate the names of (website hidden) as this was our first visit to Paris , we really loved it. I will definitely come back as I didn't have time to try the crepes! I would for sure recommend Valerie's place to anyone! Thanks a lot, Valerie!

  • When I was looking at the pictures of the apartment online, I really couldn't believe it was true. Believe me, it's true. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous, and looks as if it has gone through a fresh remodel. It's in a great neighborhood which removes you from many of the tourist traps of Paris, but is also very accessible to the metro system, only a 3 min walk to the station. The neighborhood itself has restaurants, cafes, and boulangeries galore, (check out Meli Mellow right at the corner, whose owner is fabulous!) along with pharmacies and supermarkets, in case you need any items. It's set off the main road, so you are able to sleep and wake to the pulse of the city, yet it's not too noisy. The apartment has all the conveniences that one would need, and that you won't get at a hotel, including washer, drying racks, stove tops and pots, and a coffee maker. It has plenty of room, and could easily sleep 3-4 people. Valerie was also gracious enough to provide a computer with internet access, so you plan your visit day-to-day. She met us at the apartment and was SO cordial and friendly, even when we got lost and were quite late. She also had a notebook for us in which she drew us cute maps of places to visit in the city, and she led as to Saint Chapelle, a church I didn't know about, and was probably my favorite site in the city. Valerie is also a very accessible host, and was able to provide me with some tips during my stay, when I got stomach problems from, well, eating too much. Anyway, I would recommend this apartment to ANYONE traveling to the city, (as long as they don't need an elevator).

  • We loved staying at Valerie's place for a month. It was a fantastic home away from home. The flat was newly renovated, clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, the bathroom had a wonderful shower, lots of places to store our belongings and very quick internet. The neighbourhood was perfect for us and safe. The metro, grocery stores, restaurants all close by. We especially enjoyed the Wednesday and Saturday morning market. I would stay here again and would whole heartedly recommend the flat. Thank you Valerie!

  • We had a fantastic time in Paris in this absolutely perfect appartement! As a family with two kids we were very warmly welcomed by the host Valérie. The rooms have been completely renewed, everything is brand new, including kitchen, bath room, beds, furniture and equipped with everything you need for your stay in Paris. We were the first guests and it was the best choice we could have made!
The quarter ist lovely, nice bars and restaurants. We recommend the "Pourqui pas" for genuine high quality french bistro meals, made freshly with products of the day - for a price you probably won´t find in the center of Paris. The menu changes almost dayly. The pizza restaurant "Meli Mellow" right on the corner of Rue Lesier is a cute relaxed place where you get a really decent pizza for a reasonable price.
You have everything around, several bakeries with fresh bread (baguettes et croissants, mmmh!), supermarkets that provide all the food, drinks and other things you need, banks, restaurants and take-aways (moroccan, italian, chinese, japanese...) pharmacy and, and, and... and all in this typical Parisian quarter.
Metro station Alexandre Dumas ist just a five minutes walk away, the bus stop (to the center, Louvre) is 2 minutes away.
We absolutely recommend this flat for a nice and relaxed stay in Paris. Valérie is a perfect host, the flat is in perfect condition and arranged with style so you can really relax. The small street is quiet, the quarter lovely... what more to say? Try it by yourself!
