About this listing
Hello lovers, my name is Kalae and Im renting out a bed in my living room! Me and my mother Anna, live in a spacious 2 bedroom in Morning Side Heights with a view of St.John the Divine Property. Just 3 blocks from the 1 and B/C lines, less than 5min walks to Morningside Park, Central Park and Riverside Park, 24hour drug store, grocery store and deli's, plenty of bars for night time fun, american apparel, every bank that has a branch, organic deli, grocery and dry cleaners, 10min walk to whole foods.. hmm Im sure Im missing some things. My neighborhood is amazing. Im across the street from St. John the Divine and a 5 min walk from Columbia University. Tom's Restaurant from Seinfield is less than 5mins away.. Ok back to the APT. There is free breakfast! WiFi! A bathroom! Ok, I guess there should be a bathroom. There is a mural wall, an upright piano and an acoustic guitar. Does that sweeten the deal? Come hang with me and other airbnbers! Be sure to check out my private room listings!
Guests have access to the kitchen, bathroom and living room area which are all shared spaces so everyones encouraged to clean up after themselves.
Interaction with Guests
I interact with guests as they come in and out of the apartment. I also try to create a comfortable space in the living room for fun conversations with all the airbnbers.
I love how diverse it is!
Im located close to many train and bus lines. Easy access to most places in the city and brooklyn.
Other Things to Note
Theres a laundry mat on the street level of my building. It costs money but is conveniently located.
There aren't a million rules but I would appreciate a neat person that will respect and honor the space. You can burn candles, incense, sage, but please dont fill the house with toxic aromatics. Im also looking for someone who is a heavy sleeper because the bed is in the living space and though, there will be mutual respect in the area, its still "public" domain in the house. Also I recently informed that no animals are "allowed" in the building; meanwhile I have a cat, so I guess the rule is, no MORE animals. Sorry :(
