The space
Thimble Cottage is a truly charming south facing light and airy 1850s fisherman's cottage set in
the heart of the harbour and on the coastal path.
Sea and harbour views from the top floor with village views from the middle floor.
Newly renovated and decorated with an eclectic look of new and antique furniture over 3 floors, whitewashed walls and stairs to compliment the period features including a wood burner, beamed ceilings.
Breath taking views from the walks on the coastal path. Walk 1.5 miles from Thimble's doorstep to The Gardens of Heligan all off road, drive to The Eden project 8 miles away.
Mevagissey is a working harbour,where you can watch the fishermen land their catch, mend their nets, which they have been since 1430 or just watch the boats bobbing up and down.
Mevagissey has a history of smuggling and piracy, keeps to its roots and is far from commercialised and is still picture postcard quaint, a quintessential Cornish harbour
This property is a traditional Cornish cottage on the National Trust path and as such there is no driveway, no road and no parking at the property.
Parking available at public car park 5/7 mins walk away or in the harbour public car park .

3/5 min walk to cottage .

2bedroom , sleeps 2 in twin beds, sea and harbour views
space for travel cot (one kept at Thimble, along with high chair)

Kitchen/diner seats 4
dual aspect lounge with Smart TV , Netflix App (sign into your own account)
Double shower room

There is £150 refundable security deposit against any breakages , extra cleaning
Super fast broadband WIFI
Towels, bed linen (beds made up for arrival) included
Full housekeepers clean for your arrival
initial scuttle of logs/kindling wood for Wood burner
Log burner available from 1 st October to 1 st May or weather depending.
Extra logs can be bought on the way into Mevagissey .

Anything that can damage the towels or linens to be used in the cottage .
Car parking 5 - 7 min walk in public car park willows car park
Or in the harbour 4-5 min walk , Mevagissey Harbour .
Bag drop bottom of Cliff Street .
Wheelie luggage recommended.
Once luggage is in the cottage , go back & park the car .
