Keith and Carol were extremely hospitable hosts and welcomed us to their lovely garden cottage for a month this July. They gave us literature, maps, and wonderful advice making this one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. This cottage was fantastic and beyond what we imagined. Its beautiful kitchen was a great place for relaxing meals set in an inside garden atmosphere and its skylights made this a great art studio. It was a great location, close to Musgrave Center with its restaurants, movie theaters and shopping; along with lots of nearby parks, botanical gardens, and even a zoo. We highly recoment this cottage and its gracious hosts.
I really enjoy my stay in Carol place. Cosy and decorated with taste it was à pleasure to be Carol's guest.
Carol and Keith were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was clean and neat and a little bigger than it appeared on the images. The area is nice (which is by no means a given in Durban) with various restaurants and a shopping center within walking distance. We loved our stay here and will definitely make use of this cottage again if ever back in Durban.
Carol and Keith we wonderful hosts! What a brilliantly located cottage, the perfect home from home. We had flight delays and they welcomed us with food for dinner, and a kitchen stocked with breakfast goodies. The area felt very safe, and with restaurants and shops a short distance away, it was superbly convenient. We didn't make use of the pool, but it looked really inviting. The information in the cottage was detailed and gave us all the inside info on Durban. Their communication before our stay, and throughout our delays, was fantastic. I can't recommend them (and their fabulous cottage) highly enough and we hope to return next year! THANKS!! Emily and Tina.
From the moment we arrived we loved our experience! Very homely loved all the little thing Carol and Keith do in the cottage! Just wished we could of stayed longer. Brilliant location lots of shops and restaurants near by. Always felt very safe and we loved all the art work in the cottage!
Carol and Keith's cottage is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Durban! The location is ideal and the cottage contains everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. I will definitely be contacting Carol when I return to Durban. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
I stayed with Carol for 4 nights and it was a terrific spot for me--in a great location, and easy to get around on my own. The cottages are both charming, very comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. My hosts were delightful and very helpful, including arranging transport from the airport, and providing great advise about logistics and things to do. I will definitely stay there again if I come back to Durban.

About the Host, Carol
I am an art curator working in South Africa and internationally. My husband Keith and I enjoy hosting people and therefore find airbnb a great occupation. We have a house which is over a hundred years old which we have modernized over the years. The self catering apartments are all in our tropical garden and guests enjoy the peace and calm whilst being close to the city. We have always and still travel extensively with Paris being a favorite destination. We also collect art which enhances our environment.
