Melissa and Cyndi are such nice people and excellent hosts! The bedroom and bathroom were lovely and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was greeted by their lovable dog, Maddi, who always made sure I saw her latest toy each time I came through the door. The location is great for easy access to the bus lines and The Honolulu Museum of Art.

Melissa's apt. is small and comfortable and I was very happy there. I had all the privacy I needed and both Melissa and Cindy were pleasant and helpful. Parking in the nieghborhood is a bit of a challenge, but then, it's Honolulu. They have a wonderful view of Waikiki, Diamond Head and west Honolulu.

Let me first start off by saying this was my first airbnb experience and the room I rented exceeded my expectations! Melissa and Cyndi were amazing hosts by responding to texts quickly and being all around friendly. I can honestly say I was nervous walking through the door because as I stated above, it was my first airbnb rental and I was unaware of (if any) any host-guest etiquette/interactions. When I walked through their door after a long flight, I was happily greeted by their dog Maddie with toy in tow, tail wagging. I am a huge dog lover so this was a very warm welcome. Before I go further, I should mention I was not the average tourist using airbnb but as an inexpensive alternative to hotels while I search for housing. I was mostly stressed trying to find an affordable apartment in Honolulu rather than using the place as a vacation rental. With that being said, both Cyndi and Melissa were very easy to talk to which was comforting but at the same time, gave me my space to call rentals, be in and out quickly, and find a car. I can go on and on about how great the hosts were and how inexpensive the room rate was being so close to the downtown area but that would take pages and pages. Bottom line: whether you are on vacation or here on the business side of things, this room and these great hosts will not disappoint at all! I had a wonderful experience with airbnb and With Melissa and Cyndi who are gracious enough to open their home to strangers. Thank you Melissa and Cyndi for opening up your place for me and sharing some Honolulu knowledge with me! Excellent hosts with an excellent room!!

I had a great time staying with Melissa and Cyndi, they're lovely friendly and welcoming people and the apartment is great! The room is a comfortable size, I was travelling on my own so there was more than enough space! It was clean and uncluttered and the bed was super comfortable, I think I actually liked those pillows better than my ones at home! The location was good, I mostly walked or got the bus or and uber anywhere if I wanted to get food or go out, the bus stops are basically at your door stop so this is a cheap and convenient option! An uber ride to waikiki was about $10. Cheaper than a cab! If you're looking for a cheap and comfortable place to stay in Oahu outside of waikiki in what feels like more of a "real" neighborhood definetly stay with these guys. Oh and they're dog Maddi is such a sweetheart I loved being greeted by her when I would come home and giving her some pats, she's a beautiful dog! Thanks for a great stay guys! All the best

The room and the amenities are exactly the way it is in the picture and description. The bedroom is very cozy and the bed is super comfortable also. The hosts Melissa and Cyndi are super sweet and very helpful if you need them m. Though they will leave you alone if you are just hanging out on your own. Perfectly balanced host!! Also the dog, Maddi is super sweet and quiet. Location is very convenient. There is a bus stop right in front. I highly recommend staying here!

Melissa's place was really nice and clean. The room is big and the bed very comfy. It's well located, i recommend to have a car though. I only regret not to have interaction really with Melissa even thought we were in the same place.

Cyndi and I are both in our 30's and have lived in Oahu for about 6 years. I'm an occupational therapist and she's in grad. We moved here from LA with our daughter dog, Madeline Beans Baylor, to have the opportunity for year round outdoor adventures. We like to surf, hike, snorkel, scuba, bike... anything outdoors. We also do a little island hopping & camping when we can. Maddi comes with us almost everywhere & is a very well behaved but energetic pup. We're available to answer questions you have about cool things to do while you're here but generally let our guests have their privacy and prefer independent people since we have pretty busy schedules.
We hope you enjoy your time in Oahu and feel comfortable in our (new to us) Punchbowl condo!
