Located on 10 acres and a beautiful pond with unique water fowl. Private cabin with one bedroom, full kitchen, and bathroom. Ideally located between Fairbanks and Chena Hot Springs Resort. Rustic but most affordable accommodations in the area!
You are welcome to bring your (house trained) pooch to the Ranch! We are dog friendly and love our canine companions. We realize that traveling without Rover can be lonely, and that Rover is part of the family, so as long as you are a responsible pet owner, feel free to bring him along.
There are miles of trails in the area. Often used for dog mushing but used for foot traffic too! You will enjoy being out of the noise of Fairbanks and in the real Alaska located outside of the city's perimeter. You are likely to see a moose, fox, ptarmigan, or sled dog team on any given day.
Come enjoy the laid back atmosphere and rustic comfort of Wet Dog Ranch.
We stayed here for 2 nights on our trip to Fairbanks, and it was a fantastic experience! My boyfriend and I loved the rustic look and feeling of the cabin. The living room is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the lake and surrounding trees. The upstairs bedroom is super cozy and quaint. The kitchen had all the necessities we needed to cook a few meals, and we enjoyed some fresh coffee out on the porch in the morning. Kim and her family were really welcoming hosts and responded quickly to my inquiries about the cabin. Overall it was a wonderful experience, and we'd definitely stay here again.
The area is quiet, the hiking nearby is awesome, the dogs are friendly, and it was perfect after being on the road. I didn't realize it had a stove, so I could cook dinner for the first time in a long while.
Kim is great, and seems to have lots of plans for improvements, so it should only get better over time.
The cabin at Wet Dog Ranch was amazing. Exactly as described and more! We didn't meet our host Kim, but she was immediately responsive to our messages via airbnb. Highly recommended to any one visiting the fairbanks area as its close to both fairbanks and the chena lakes recreation area, which is beautiful too. Only thing we noticed was our car GPS was off up in this area and you had to go a little further east on chema lake rd to get to Rasmussend rd
The house is very very nice, in a place near a little lake where you can really loose the sense of time. Very clean!
Great little cabin. Excellent for one or two people and it seems newly built or newly renovated so everything is in great condition... I hope to visit again someday. Quick tip: watch out for Mosquitos in the summer!

We want our guests to experience the beauty and uniqueness of Alaska. We are perfectly situated away from the city life of Fairbanks and a close drive to the Chena Hot Springs! Two Rivers is a two and a half hour ride to Denali Park; this is a beautiful drive, which we encourage you to take! We have lived in Alaska for over 15 years and know the state very well-we are happy to share our knowledge and experiences with you! My husband has completed the Iditarod Dog Sled Race successfully two times, we remain connected with the mushers in our community and can arrange for dog sled rides, weather permitting. If you are a birder, our pond offers views of many different species migrating to the Arctic. On the property is a Great Horned Owl who perches herself on the cabin on occasion! Please join us for a lovely stay in our Alaskana cabin in the woods!
