Les' place was huge and beautiful! Spectacular lake views with kayaks available. I rented this unit for 2 of my employees and they loved their stay! Les' wife even made them a cake :)

The apartment is well located and the view on the lake is just awesome. We had a very bad weather but we enjoyed our stay at Les' place. things and furnitures are a bit old however you have everything you need. Very nice place to stay when you want to be away from toronto's crowd and close to the lake.

Very great place to stay. Very warm and comfortable. Especially at this price level. And the views from the kitchen window were breathtaking at times. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Les and his wife were very kind to us. Only couple things that laundry should have to pay and little cold during night are little lack of feeling. However, the view of lake and their kind mind were touched. Thank you Les, hope you have nice days!!

The host wasn't there when I came to check in. I called the host 6 times. Waited around the property for his arrival at 10am. We requested to check in at 9am. Building is old, it is NOT country setting. Owner lives upstairs, we heard talking and footsteps past midnight. Me and my GF came down to spend some quite time, tour Toronto for the first time with my 6 month baby boy so obviously I didn't came here to party my butt off, and we informed the owner of that in the emails, but we were informed 3 times that this was a quite house that we can't be loud. House is NOT sound proof. You can hear people in the hallway, upstairs and outside the apartment building. Leather sofa set is really old and dirty, we covered it with sheets. Furniture all around the house is really old and fragile, tables by bed were tiny and barely held the lamps so I kept all my things on the floor. Wifi is slower than a turtle. Downtown is 30 minutes drive (not mins away as Les advertises it). Floors are very old plastic-made creaky and squeaky, at night times they are really annoying. Microwave doesn't work. No PLUG-INS, Maybe one plugin per room, BRING YOUR OWN LONG LONG EXTENSION CORDS. We charged our iphones in the kitchen and by the balcony. Door locks/handles are really old, they don't lock or shut completely. Again, this is not a country setting home, it's an apartment building that needs DRASTIC renovations because it's SO old. The house had old peoples' smell to it. View is beautiful if you walk down through the backyard and to the cement balcony. The picture displayed in Les's profile picture is not your bedroom balcony view. Not worth paying $100/night. I expected to walk to downtown because Les mentioned it was minutes away from downtown, it's not. It's quite a drive. Bring your own salt/pepper/olive oil... Bring your own toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper roll) Bring your own green tea/sugar etc
