You will enjoy 52 acres of woods ready to be explored during your unique camping experience in an authentic retro fitted ice shanty. All nestled in the secluded woods of northern Vermont. Offering 3 miles of trails cut through the forested hillside and access to private stocked pond and epic overlook featuring amazing veiws of surrounding area mountains and rolling landscapes.

The space
Come camping with us on our fully off grid family farm and homestead. Conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown Lyndonville or a quick 25-minute drive and you can catch the powder at Burke Mountain Ski Resort. Here on the homestead, we play on 52 secluded hillside acres. Boasting hand worked gardens, fields and forested land. Discover small creaks running through the property and peek through the forest canopy at the starlight sky. With access to a private stocked pond and a gorgeous overlook of the surrounding mountains and rolling landscape you will be surrounded by the best Vermont has to offer! We offer year-round camping. For the colder months you may opt for our insulated ice shanty site; stocked with the basics needed for your winter adventure. You will have access to snowshoes, 2 single cots or 1 double cot, lights, radio, propane heater, portable commode, cook stove, coffee pot, water, USB charging ports, firewood, chairs, cooler, bedding, cutlery, dishes, and cookware. This site is very secluded and located a short hike downhill (approximately 0.3mile) into the woods from the main homestead. We offer nearly 3 miles of trails, excellent for snowshoeing and exploring the property. If you're looking for even more adventure sign-up for one of our guided snowshoe, ice fishing, dog sledding or sightseeing tours. If there is a tour not listed that you would be interested in let us know; we will make it happen. The shanty can fit two occupants comfortably. If your camping party is greater than two, for an additional fee we could offer a second heated shelter, a unique camping experience in our canvas bell tent. During your stay

We love to meet our guest but your stay is yours. We reside in the main house and your spot is fully secluded and private. Someone will always be available if needed. We can even send you down with a walkie talkie for quick communication.
