Interaction with Guests

I tend to interact as little as possible with guests. The keys can be retrieved and returned via a lock box which allows guest maximum flexibility for arrival and departure times. I'm always available by phone or email to answer questions, give suggestions, or help with any issues that arise. ;)

The Neighborhood

Definitely, check out my guidebook attached to this listing. I have marked several of my favorite places nearby to check out. I can also email a (website hidden) doc filled with recommendations. (Available Upon Request)

**Local Artists**
Usually you can find our local artist selling paintings on McAllister Street. He re-purposes old windows and paints beautiful scenes from San Francisco on the glass to give an impression of looking through the window at San Francisco. I would consider the style of his paintings somewhat impressionistic.

**Alamo Square**
The picturesque Victorian row houses at Alamo Square are among the most photographed buildings in San Francisco. The buildings give a good idea of what San Francisco looked like at the end of the 19th century.

Kabuki Theater (equipped with 21+ theaters as well as tasty food and beverages to take into the theater with you) and Kabuki Springs Spa ((website hidden)) equipped with communal baths (Facilities include a hot pool, cold plunge, dry sauna, and steam room. Individual bathing areas include traditional Japanese-seated showers and standing western-style showers.) and spa services including massages, facials, body treatments and acupuncture.

**The Fillmore Auditorium**
A historic music venue in San Francisco, California, made famous by Bill Graham.

**Golden Gate Park**
A large urban park consisting of 1,017 acres (412 ha) of public grounds. Configured as a rectangle, it is similar in shape but 20% larger than Central Park in New York, to which it is often compared. It is the third most visited city park in the United States after Central Park in New York City and Lincoln Park in Chicago.

** Hayes Valley**
Hayes Valley is a fashionable neighborhood in San Francisco, California, between the historical districts of Alamo Square and Civic Center. Victorian, Queen Anne, and Edwardian townhouses rub shoulders with boutiques, restaurants, and public housing complexes.

Getting around

Bus stop available on the same block for easy access to Downtown, Moscone Center, Financial District, Civic Center, Union Square, Golden Gate Park, or Ocean Beach. 10 minutes to the Mission/Castro, 15 min to Noe Valley. Hastings 5 minutes (one bus), UCSF 15 minutes, USF 10min (one bus). Ocean Beach one bus.

Check out the website, (website hidden), it will give you the latest transportation information. (i.e. when the next bus/train is coming, where the stop is, etc.) The closet buses to the apt are located at Fillmore and McAllister, which are for the 22 and 5 bus lines. The 22 will take you to through the Fillmore, Pac Heights, and the Marina or Lower Haight, Mission, and Potrero Hill. The 5 will take you through NoPa, Richmond, and Ocean beach or Fillmore, Hayes Valley, and Downtown.

  • Thank you for a great apartment stay in SF Molly! The apartment was clean, safe and the location was great for what we wanted to do in the city. Close to great food and shopping, close to surrounding parks an only $5-10 taxi to all the touristy stuff if we wanted! Thanks to Molly for all the helpful information and for assisting with small issues we had in a very quick turn around time!

  • Great place to be in. Molly is super responsive and always willing to help.

Netflix access and the huge TV makes a very good experience and comfy.

  • The apartment was in the perfect location for getting around the city and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! Although this is a less touristy area of the city, that's one of the reasons I liked it. And Molly was a very helpful host too.

  • Molly's place is AWESOME! It really close to loads of cool cafes and bars and in a nice quiet area. A short walk Alamo Park, Haight-Ashbury and Divisadero (an awesome cafe and shopping strip). A bit of a longer walk to fisherman's wharf, plenty to see along the way and a cheap taxi fare if you don't want to walk.

Molly's place was really clean and is bigger than it seems in the photos and communication with Molly was great (heaps of good recommendations in the area). Check in and check out.....super easy! Would definitely stay again if I'm in town.
