There are also several local yoga studios in the area. There is a quaint, lovely, cafe nearby and several wonderful restaurants as well as a great diner modeled after the 50's within walking distance.

I would most definitely recommend Hosts Maureen & Tony's lovely country house for your stay. They were very accommodating to how late we arrived, and I room was quite comfortable! The house itself is a gem, of old country style home in East Oak Lane. The bathrooms have their original clawfoot tubs and hardwood floors. Three floors of charm and relaxing vibes! The Bengal Cat will also greet you! Their home will be ours away from our home for many times to come when we visit!

Tony and Maureen are great hosts! They are very friendly and welcoming to their home. They also provide a lot of privacy for their guests. The house is very spacious and comfortable to stay, looks just like the pictures. There was more than enough room. You have full access to the house including kitchen and laundry room. I would recommend their house to anyone looking to stay in the North Philadelphia area!

Maureen was very kind and flexible to happily accept us even at a late arrival hour. The house is lovely, always a joy to stay here and always a regret that we didn't stay long enough!

My wife and I teach relationship seminars, breathwork ,and yoga and organize different wellness events. We love our work and are used to people being in our home for residential weekends and events. We love hosting people here. Maureen isa newly trained Yoga teacher and she loves Yin Yoga in particular. We travel regularly to New York and love the balance we have between New York energy and the lush greenness that surrounds us in the area we live in in Philadelphia.
